Why do you want to do this?

I feel like 9v's are more expensive and two would be heavier than 3 AA's?

3aa's = 4.5 volts
1 9v = 9 volts

why would you want to spend more on batteries anyway?

*edit* found this thread, you can put 9v's in your rotor

You could definitely burn up your motor doing that. Same with the 9v mod on the halo

on a halo 6x1.5 = 9v
2 9v's running parallel = 9v

how does this burn out the motor? or make it faster?

AA's last longer than 9v's. They put out less voltage individually, but together they share the drain more evenly over the life of the batteries. That's why big car audio systems use multiple batts instead of one huge battery.
