Followup to my last thread
. Took a stock clear Halo shell, disassembled the halves, cleaned with alcohol and used Krylon plastic paint in "Satin Black".
Taping it up...
Don't forget the battery door
Wait 1 hr, remove tape...
All done! Take your time, and use better tape than I did. It bled just a bit
in the very tips/corners of the side. The paint really
sticks to plastic (it's designed to bond to it... not removable) so clear is not needed.
Took a couple hours, mostly taping and cleaning. I could now tint the backside and have a smoke/black hopper without having to retape. Looks 100% better on my markers now.
