Durability, consistency, a number of other reasons.

these kind of announcements of who teams up wtih who or who is selling whose product are ****ing pointless.

nobody cares if your store is a prefered anything, just like nobody cares if your mid level no name team thinks they signed a deal with a paintball company.

What does it mean to be a preferred seller? Are the prices better? Any marker issues are directed back to DP after the purchase. So after the initial purchase, the buyer would no longer deal with the "preferred" seller.

terrible... dangerous power couldn't have teamed up with action village or another online store?

DP has not 'teamed up' with anyone. We do however, recognize our dealers that support us.

ANS has been an excellent source for DP products- and we will continue to stand 100% behind our authorized dealers by providing world class customer service and product support we are recognized for.

Now if the Product was worth it, then this would be great news. BUT?

NOT...
Sorry, try again.

Maybe you should reserve judgment until the Rev-i is in more hands. I don't know why there is so much hate around here.

For the price point it certainly seems like a lot of value for your dollar.

Go take a look at the pics of what you get in the DP Rev-I thread.

Can you show me a comparable marker with those features at the same price point?

I try to keep my head out of the customer service end of dp...but this was a horriable idea...

ANS has been known to scam people, and produce dangerous/faulty equipment...

May I remind you about the RAPS ripoff they did..

This can only be bad for DP IMO.

This is because you literally dont know what youre buying when youre trying to buy a gun, are you going to get a nice gun? Or are you going to get a leaky piece of metal? You dont know, but you do know that there are plenty of other guns in the price bracket that will work...

this is why you buy from a pro shop......

Paintball News Rules
  1. No Upping threads. If you have something to say, please do, but don't post in the thread just to take it to the top of the forum.
  2. Do not post "1st post", "1st", "First post" or anything similar (or with any other number) at any point in a thread, even if you post a comment too. It is really annoying and it will result in a ban.
  3. If you don't like something, say why instead of just calling it ugly, lame, gay or any other name. If it is old, simply post a link or report the post with a link to the older News thread.
  4. Please don't post links for places to buy items. That encourages stores, sponsored players and other people to do it and spam the site.
If you have questions, please post them in the Talk to Mods/Admins forum.
