blink is alright with me.

i don’t think it is really fair for any of you to compare them to bands like simple plan or good charlotte though, and for obvious reasons at that. even if you don’t like blink 182's relatively simple and very listener friendly sound, you have to remember that these are just 3 guys out to have a good time with music, which is really a great approach to making music. the fact that they have become popular throughout the process is 100% irrelative. most importantly unlike bad charlotte and simple plan, these guys aren’t trying to fool anyone into thinking they are someone they aren’t with their act. while blink might be writing about girls, at least they aren’t writing in attempts to justify their way of life.

to be perfectly honest i kind of enjoyed the stuff from dude ranch. listened to it on a road trip and i thought it was pretty chill.
