Looking to buy an egg3

I am playing with a smart parts ion with quite a few upgrades on it, I was wondering if I am going to be able to play with the egg. I have been told yes and I have been told no so I was just seeing what if this is a good purchase.

i would spend a little more [10 dollars] and get the vlocity jr much better hopper and you will get better performance the egg seems to jam alot and eats batteries so no dont get an egg

the egg works fine, if u can save up for the best hopper you can get

ggs are kinda bulky so you get alot more hopper hits- it would work i had one and i upgraded to a vlo jr with gangstar

great for rec ball at least. large = more balls, and hopper shots usually dont count.

I wonder where you play that hopper hits do not count.

I guy locally here is running an egg on his mantis ego and it keeps up to 15bps ramp just fine.

i have an egg2 with z board and it held up to my buddies ego fine... so now it is just preferance. It is no bigger than the halo, velocity or any other hopper. Psp rules is now capped at 10bps anyway... so you could pretty much use any force fed hopper and not outshoot it. so it is mostly about feel and ease of loading. Eggs do not have speed feeds. just some hints..

It works...

I had mine and it worked just fine at 15 bps PSP ramping, then 13, now at 10 bps.

And on Semi auto, it'll keep up with you just fine (especially because of the horrid stock trigger.)

And i don't know what planet you come from where eggs eats batteries...one of the more battery efficient loaders out there.

And jams? Non existent with the soft paddles in there. Thats why they make such good reball loaders.

Overall...like i said. The Eggy works. Also, its like a quarter inch larger on each side. I wouldn't sweat it at all.

I say, if your getting hopper hits with an eggy, your going to get hopper hits with the halo.

If you think 1/4th of an inch is going to affect your game that much, then your probably not positioned correctly anyway.

disagree... yes its bulky but it sits back... means it has lower profile if you actually play right... i've even had about 7 "bounces" off mine due to the shape within the past year
