RIP's indoor field is within city limits and since all the paintball is eventually going into the water system, the company had to purchase a permit and pay a fee to allow the city of Reno to offset the affects of paintball in the water system. Hence the reason for house paint only. If a non-house paint is used and detected by the city, the RIP could be fined and or closed.

If you act like a beginner then you will be treated like a beginner and that is most likely why you were told no this and no that. I ref there alot and that is the biggest problem we have - old players walking in loaded, with both paint and air - with no barrel cover, cracked lenses, and bad attitudes because they can't shoot their $10 a box GAP paint.

GAP is gone, get over it. Deal with the rules and play paintball.

i am experienced i fully understand the need for safety, goggles at appropriate times, hyro, paint, and general common sense..

why dont they just make a mandatory lecture at the beginning... i knew everything and i would not stop being lectured lol

Went there for the first time Friday and its cool. Good well kept field. Good refs. And just good paintball fun having goodness. And as far as the strict attitude goes we have had field after field go out of business here. We finally have someone who takes it seriously. Thank you Larry. Go borrow a tampon and a chocolate bar from your mommy and get over it and lets go play some ball. Lets keep this one open.

Any spots open for reffing here?

I used to ref SC Village a couple years back, definitely would be interested in reffing again, and considering I just moved to Reno it'd be a blast.

I was under the impression that the Reno speedball scene, and paintball scene in general had gone under, it's nice to know that it's alive and well.

Get back to me about the reffing thing.

Sherwin-Williams Cup Tournament

Register now for the Sherwin-Williams Cup Tournament at RIP on the 27th of June. S.W. is sponsoring this event and giving out some good prize packs for the top three teams of both the begginning and open divisions. the will also be awarding a partial sponsorship for the first place teams for the next RPL event. This should be a great event with a BIG name on it. We would like to make this an anual event but to do so this forst year needs to be a success. See you all there.
