Bolt sticking foward PLZ HELP!!!
ok, on my 07 PMR when ever i shoot it the bolt sticks foward and then air starts to leak. I took the bolt apart lubed it and found that it was VERY dirty so i cleaned very well. I put it back in and turned the velocity down a lot and the dwell up a little bit, it dry fires for a couple of shots but then i hear this loud pop sound and the bolt sticks again. I figure maybe its my detents, i check my detents one looks ok except that a part of the edge is torn and the other one looks kind of deformed. I think its the detents, but want to hear what other people think to make sure thats what it is and that im not wasting my time.

i unlubed and relubed, the bolt is still sticking foward. My can is completely clean. The bolt is very clean. I checked the o-rings, but they seem fine. I know that if the front o-ring is broken it causes this problem, but the o-ring seems completely fine. What else could cause this? and any other advice on how to fix it? could my solenoid be busted?

i'd replace them, the more screwd up they get it starts to cause weird problems. I had rubber ones and I got metal eye covers and they caused the detents to get screwd up. And then other problems started happening like balls getting jammed. One was completely chewed up and the other was fine, but my bolt had residue from the detents all over it. I put the composite eye plates back on until I got spring detents and put the metal back on and its been great, plus if you ever play reball they are good for reball also.

that could be it, because i have metal eye covers with the rubber detents. Ill order some spring detents, but does anyone else have any other suggestions on what it might be?

Take the detents out of the gun and see if the bolt still sticks forward...that way you can rule out the detents.

i think i fixed it, i remember having this same problem like 4 weeks ago and forgot what i did to fix it. I remember taking my regulator off. So i took my regulator off and found that inside it was kind of grimy and dirty. So i cleaned it out and it seems to be working (at least at a low velocity) hopefully i can get my friends allen wrenches and turn the velocity up to make sure it works at a higher velocity.
Any other suggestions on the problem please post im not 100% sure i have fixed it.

sometimes the o-rings swell up also which can casue them to stick forward, this has happened to me before.

It's the detents. I've seen the exact same problem with my 09 PMR. Tried everything and was still having problems with the bolt sticking forward when getting down to 1k PSI. Finally tried manually pulling the bolt to it's farthest point using my pinkie finger, so it would go past the detents and when I tried to push it back past them, it would stick and it would take more force to push it back past the detents.
My problem has slowly gotten better, and after comparing my current detents with my stock replacement detents, I can see why. The current detents are now worn down significantly compared to the new ones. I also think that maybe the o-ring at the end of the bolt that keeps the bolt for being pulled through the can might be too large or maybe swelled from lube.
