Glenrock Updates

Well I'm starting this thread so everyone around the Glenrock area can keep updated on what's happening at the field every week.
This way we can all keep in touch and get some games going a little more often.

Anyone playing this weekend? My friend Matt might be. I'm probably holding out for a little better weather (and payday!)

I was thinking about getting in touch with some of the regulars that I go with to see if they want to start in March. Hopefully we can have some good times out there this year

Sweet! If the we get another nice 50+ degree day (hopefully with minimal wind...you can get everything you wish for all the time though...), we'll be out there again soon!
Hope you guys can make it...oh and keep an eye on this thread for any updates. I'll be posting in here regularly to see what's going on. We need more teams to play with on the weekends.

Yes, I will keep an eye on it. Heck I did not know about this section of PBNation until a buddy of mine directed me to it recently. There were a bunch of guys playing down there last year from Douglas but I never got a chance to get their names or #'s. Hopefully I can catch them sometime this year.

I see you like DP. I think I remember you. I introduced myself, I believe you just got your threshold and were testing it out that day, but not playing.

Thanks for the thread Tim, it's a great idea. I've been thinking about something like this for some time now and never did a thing about it.
I'm down to play whenever. Hopefully sooner or later.

Yeah I figured you'd like it! It took me awhile to finally get one started...not that it's a hard process...I just didn't really think about it. We always use the Wyoming Paintballers forum. This just seemed more formal I guess for what we're trying to accomplish, and that's to get more people to communicate and get together to actually play on the weekends in G-rock.
I can't wait to play either! My SL is burning a hole in my paintball bag! It's hard to keep the damn thing put away, I keep dragging it out and running around the house scaring Nichole and Ashton. I'm going crazy..this damn weather needs to break so we can get out some more AGRESSION!!! I'm feeling kind of AGRESSIVE!!! How about you!?
I like Agression I think. Sounds cool. Josh was asking about it, and was wondering why I didn't have the name in my signature...

Yep, that was probably me. I played with it a bunch last summer and it shot great. Next time I go out I am bringing my notebook though so I can get everyones name and phone #. We used to have like 20-25 guys out there sometimes on the weekends. It was awesome.

That would be perfect! Anyone really willing to play (well speedball style anyways.) Not that we hate woodsball or anyone with a Tippmann...we just moved onto a different style of play. ANYONE with a gun that fires paintballs is welcome for sure. I guess on the flipside, even with an invite, it's hard to switch back over to woodsball/rec/scenario anymore. I finally got a taste of something different and I like it a whole lot more!
But 20-25 players on the weekends would be AWESOME again! I really look forward to that!

Well if you guys play the last weekend of March, or the first two weekends of April be sure and post. If the weather is good I would love one last chance to sling some paint before heading out to the sand box.

Sorry STREETZ. We get our paint from Casper or online. Air will probably only supply our guys (we have two scuba's, but about 5-6 guys running compressed air.) You'll have to get your paint ahead of time, and probably have your tank filled up at the Scuba shop in Casper on Beverly St.
Sean...keep me updated (I'll probably forget the end of March/early April unless you remind me.) We'll make it a special date to get out there and get a bunch of people for your "going away party"! Hope to play some paintball with you sooner...if you can make it.

Hey Eric, how are things? Do you ever talk to Trent, Grant, or any of the guys we used to play with?
I have a scuba too and so does my friend Jason. That is kinda the same deal we have....5 or 6 guys and only 2 scubas. It was nice when Jerry used to go down there with the air compressor

I am booked solid with army stuff till March 21 and we go active on the 15th of April so that's my only window to play but I'll keep an eye things anyway.
When I get back, unless I get my legs blown off or something else ****ty, I plan on picking back playing in Glenrock with you guys along with the big spring & fall scenario games down at Agate, CO. As always you guys are more than welcome to come alone with me down to Colorao for those games. It would be cool to see more guys from WY giving the speedball teams from DMC and the CO scenario teams a run for their money.

Streetz, I would love to play Salt Lake City. The only thing is, I'm pretty tight on money, and my only chance for a tourney this year is probably Colorado/South Dakota/Montana...and that will probably only be for maybe two tournaments this year if I can. My wife doesn't work all summer, so money gets really tight then...so I'm hoping to hit something this spring (if not both), then possibly in the fall before the weather gets to bad.
I hope you can find the players...like I said I would, but my money will be going towards playing as many times in Glenrock as I can this year, and the aforementioned possible tournaments with my teamates.
Sean...I will keep those dates open then!
