TheEnforcer98's TBO Trigger Review - First Impressions

like Disturbed and Border, I was lucky enough to be sent the new TBO Fusion/F8 Trigger for testing/review purposes.

I came home from school yesterday to find a brown padded envelope sitting on my computer desk.

It was packaged very well, and even had some extra foam packaging on the inside, and all the parts in a nice bag so they won't get lost.

After thoroughly overlooking the trigger, I was surprised how well it was made, and the overall comfort of it. After some delays on getting my F8 apart to install the trigger (TWO rounded out screw heads, which had to be easy-outed ), I finally got it in. Unlike Border's install, on my F8 I only have the option of sanding the fang down for the 7e board, no matter how far I backed the adjustment screws out it still didn't allow enough travel room.

**TIP**
When I was gluing in the Magnet's I took the two, and stuck them together, then on the polar opposite sides I marked them with a sharpie, so I wouldn't screw up the direction. I then stuck the magnet to a 1/16 inch allen screw, and applied a generous amount of krazy glue, I then put it in the spring hole, and held the allen there until it was removable without pulling the magnet up (takes less waiting time, due to the less magnetic attraction between the smaller allen key).

After that I put in the stock board to test it out with. It was phenomenal, the smoothest she has ever shot. And for those of you who don't like the feel of an optical switch, but don't want a new board, the magnets solve that problem right away. They create a crisper, smoother, and more snappy response form the trigger.

I then reinstalled the Seventh Element board, then removed the trigger, so that I could file down the fang more easily. After I got it to somewhere similar to my stock trigger, I reinstalled it, and made some slight adjustments by squeezing the file into the frame. After that it was only some minor tuning and playing with the pre/post travels.

I'm VERY impressed with this trigger, and would buy one in a heartbeat, it's very much worth the wait from then - when TBO made his first poll about a trigger - to now.

Some more pictures I took.

**I MIGHT BE ABLE TO GET A VIDEO DONE TOMORROW, BUT TODAY WE HAD A HOCKEY GAME, AND IT WAS SNOWING AND 16* **

Looks great!

Only downfall to the F8 imo is the trigger. Glad TBO came out with these.
