[TETRAFUSION] my band's new video!, STUDIO MUSIC VIDEO!

Hey guys,

Not too sure if this was the right place to post this stuff, but my band Tetrafusion is due to release their debut album in a week or two, and I just wanted to share our newest studio music video of one of our songs entitled "The End":

http://www.vimeo.com/3028856

Hope you all enjoy!, feedback is welcomed. (It is a long song, but it's three movements, we approached it like a classical piece [just a sidenote])

You can check us out at www.myspace.com/tetrafusion (our other songs differ a lot from this one!)

Have a great week everyone.

-Mark

It's actually pretty sweet. I was expecting to hate it, but it's not bad at all. Very tight and clean.

Awesome man, I love your guys' stuff. You are going to go far, no doubt about that, keep it up.

What do you play btw?

Also, when does your album come out? I'd definitely like to purchase it and support you guys.

Thanks so much man, I appreciate your support and complements bro!

I'm the bassist.

It comes out in about two weeks from today. I'll post another thread when it is and all that, so just stay tuned. Add us on MySpace and we'll announce it there too!

Keep it coming guys, I really appreciate it!

I was hoping you would say you were the bassist. You're awesome man, truly some great playing in that. What's that bass you've got there anyway? It looks like a 7-string, a Conklin maybe?

Also, how do you arrange all that stuff? You've got like 100 different things going on, and 100 difference sections and movements, I couldn't imagine memorizing all that.

Thanks man, I really appreciate it!

Yeah, it's a Conklin 7-String.

As far as arranging, um, well, there is an album concept, so we tried to stick to that. The concept behind this song is the end of the world, by the Heat Death Theory where the universe is expanding, so if you notice from like 0:45 - 0:56, the riff keeps adding an 8th note everytime, and from 1:56 - 2:07 the space between the hits gets longer. Just stuff like this as far as the concept goes.

As far as just song writing in general, idk, we just don't limit ourselves really, and just try to be as melodic as possible. We're an instrumental band (until the next CD), so you have to attempt to keep it interesting. We all use music-writing software, so it keeps it all stored on our computers incase we forget (which we do A LOT).

yeah this in particular was pretty insane

I tend to listen to music with big open improvisations in it, so sorry if I came off a little harsh before. But yeah the drummer seems talented, I really wasn't a fan of the drums though

can't get into it

I don't mean to play the bad critic but it sounds like a wannabe transiberian orchestra with less shredding. Not to mention its a bad genre to recreate IMO. It's like you guys have all these hightech studio effects and theres no emotion behind it.

thats just little ol me though

Definitely one of the best homebrewed bands that's been posted on ST:metal.

Definitely sounds like some older Dream Theater, real proggy ****. In fact, if I wasn't watching to the video, I'd say it was Dream Theater, only without the gay vocals and ridiculously overly fast guitar solos.

And damn, I loved the bass playing. Keep it up!

One last thing, were you recording live?

Edit: Oh yeah, you guys are very tight. How long have you been together?
