Can't wait, even the driving distance is cool, only a few hours from a lot of cities.

The field is twenty minutes or so from Dulles Airport.

Northern VA is all pretty connected by major roads, it won't be hard to find at all. There are tons of hotels/places to eat within a half hour. Traffic on the other hand....

Just a little bit more than that because the toll road entrance is on the opposite side of the field (but you know that )

For those of you not from the area, the Dulles airport property is roughly 7 miles from the field, however the entrance to the airport requires you drive 5-10 miles extra on Route 50, 28 or 606 to get around.

Just a warning, the traffic in Northern Virginia is particularly bad, especially in the Dulles Corridor. Give yourself time in the morning to get from your hotels to the field location and if possible, avoid I-66.

There are a ton of hotels in and around the airport in Chantilly, Herndon, Dulles, Sterling, Centreville, Manassas and Fairfax...all within 20-30 minutes of the field.

your best bet would be manassas for hotels and driving time but it may not be your best deal or best places... but TONS of places to eat and drink

The hotel list that they sent today had at least two or three that wouldn't be my first choice. At least the Chantilly ones are close. Manassas and Leesburg are going to be the cheaper options.
