Buy the BEST hopper you can. One less thing to upgrade later on. Don't get anything slower than an egg.

Rotor > empire: prophecy > magna > B2 > Halo V35 > vlocity > eggy

Can't totally agree with this. But I cannot diasagree because it is opinion.

In my opinion Proph > Rotor. Again just an opinion, not trying to start something.

If you go with one of the "Top 3" loaders (aka Rotor, proph, and pinokio) you'll be fine because they are all great, just little things that set them apart.

Otherwise if you dont want to spend that much, look at a Invert TOO or a Reloader B or Halo.

If you are using it for woodsball and dont want to risk breaking an expensive loader, an egg, ricochet ak, or halo, vlocity etc. will be great bc they are cheaper or mid priced. I only use the rotor for light woods and speed, for serious woods i use my old vlocity. you have eyes anyway, not like you can shoot too fast as to break a ball

If you're worried about breaking your hopper, buy one that isn't easy to break. Eggs are terrible, VLocitys are terrible, Halos crack everywhere but mostly hold together minus the battery door. You'll spend just as much in shells as you would on a nice, sturdy hopper.

Honestly, you run a big risk any time you use an expensive hopper. If you don't run around like an idiot it should last a good long time. Now if you're super paranoid about damaging it, get a neoprene cover for it and don't make any crazy dives.

I've had egg III's bounce off of trees, rocks just about anything imaginable in the woods and are still intact.

I've always had problems with velocity, pulse, and empire shells holding up.

The absolute best loader I've had luck with is the pinokio, yes it was given to me before it hit the market. But being such I made sure I tested it out for strength and durability.

i have never had any trouble with any of my loaders breaking, but i dont need the speed of the rotor when an egg keeps up fine with my bps capped at 15. I dont need anything faster than that for woodsball and honestly, i dont see who does. Fast shooting in the woods just wastes paint.

once again people think woodsball is rougher on gear than speedball. i've bent barrels in half, snapped feednecks off hoppers, and bent the frame on my old gun. The worst thing that happened to me in the woods was a scratch on the paint. Get a pinokio.

Make 1t Rain, that's where I'll disagree with ya. I used to play woods ball once a week and speed ball at least 4-5 times a week. I broke more gear in the woods than I ever did playing speed ball.

Most of the time playing speed ball was the barrel's getting bent or asa's snapping off.
In the woods I've completely destroyed markers, hoppers, and HPA tanks.

sparky finds a secluded place in the woods to rape his gears

speedball has been more rough on gears for me. But don't take my words for it. Just look at people dive like a maniac landing on their tanks of all things.

you should be buying the best hopper you can afford. hoppers are one of those things that you can keep with you when you get a better gun.

Never had that issue on the airball field, now the woods is another story. I guess it just depends on what type of woods you play in, everything around here has thick plants as tall as anyone there, fallen logs and vine like plants that trip you and boulders that hide in all this mess to try and catch you. I play aggressively where ever I am yet my equipment only cries when I'm headed to the woods.

good point. out here the woods are mostly desert grasslands with a ton of thick bush so tall you can actually crouch under and get underneath. Every once in a while there's an evergreen or some other tolerant trees. fallen logs? forget about it we hardly get enough living logs...

where i play in florida its all pine and oak forest with a lot of palmmeadows and small shrubs..In otherwords, very thick woods. It pays its toll on all my equipment, i use a revi most of the time bc the shell is so thick. All my gear is riddled with battle scars and dings.
