put it this way, Camille Lemanski doesn't even want anything to do with the RPL anymore....

is that a good sign?

Probably one of the best events I have ever played. Reffing was fantastic, players had great attitudes, prices were good and everyone just had fun. There were a couple things that need some work, but overall it was an awesome tournement. Shawn did a great job and was extremely helpful with any questions anyone had.

was a good event that builds up players to progress through to other leagues....Staff was very helpful, best two out of three really helped out giving teams a chance to better themselves throughout the tournament.

It's like this...... Any tournament that exposes new tournament style players to what many of us do(tournaments) is good. Many people don't like Shawn. Some people do. I don't think that he cares if the more established teams don't come to his events or don't like him. New people playing paintball is always good for us. I bet that my league or splat riot or USPL will see teams that start in this league come to our leagues this year or next year or in the years to come. So I'm all for more 3 man and 5 man starter events for young teams.

Many people blame Shawn for the collapse of the NPPL. This isn't quite true. The NPPL was unrealistic. Period. They actually fired him and all was good with the league. They the owners lied to our faces at the SD event and said "everything is good" and "we have a three year plan" well truth be told they had to know that they were in the hole. They lied to us not Shawn. I own a "pro spot" that isn't worth a nickel anymore I'm not mad at Shawn I'm mad at the Man that lied straight to my face Scott or whatever his name was.

Good luck to all of the young teams that are starting in a league like the RPL. They will have choices on other leagues that they can play. It's up to promoters to put on good events.

Mike says it so it must be true

I was there at the event. Recorded a lot on video. My favorite play was the Rockstar rebel doing the runthrough and killing 4 people straight down the middle. That was awesome.

Shout out to my Camp Pendleton Teams for getting podium

have you posted this before? i feel like this post could've prevented alot of moaning. i still remember all the good events Shawn Walker threw years before, the only problem i had was with the lack of regulation on rosters and i'm pretty sure that's where all the grumbling about Mr. Walker started.

I think the RPL was great. Good teams and every1 had a great time.. With XSV reffs made it run smooth. I think if your team was thinking of playing they should. Shout out to all the Camp Pendleton teams all of whom made the podium!!!!!!

My daughter was the one with the vid camera. I want to get her a better quality camera. She really looks up to Kat, and wants to be like her. Anyway good job nice team work finishing that game.

I took over Camille's job when she was offered more money by USPL. She did not quit, she just chose a more profitable career path. Wouldn't you? If you're so good at your job that higher paying companies are seeking you out, you would go too. Camille and Travis are still strong supporters of the RPL.
