Just want to express how happy we are to be working with PbNation! We will closely monitor this board and answer as many questions as we possibly can. Please feel free to share with us ideas for YOUR paintball league!

My first question is, who is the "person" posting as "US Paintball League"?

Welcome USPL! Can't wait for HB! I saw the article in the LA times the other day. Glad to see someone take over! I wrote the journalist about her last paragraph in the article and tried to show her that the last paragraph was unfair to all of us that care so much about the sport.

We have def. been getting a ton of exposure in the SoCal press, which is actually pretty great as it's kept our phones ringing with new vendors and teams. But it's important for each of us to always do our part in making sure the sport is being reflected in the right light. I appreciate your looking out!

Re: Venues:
DC will be Pevs - Boston might be Boston Paintball - that is still being finalized. We're really pleased about working with paintball fields for a lot of our venues this season. The lower rent as opposed to stadium venues is what's making it possible to keep pricing low, and at the same time it's always better to invest our money back into the parks. It was frustrating for years as we would build up all this interest in an area by spending thousands in marketing paintball to the public and bringing them to a stadium parking lot to watch you play - get them all amped up - and then leave them no where to play. Now we're going to be drawing people to the actual parks, investing money into these parks, and hopefully playing our part in growing the sport in that area. Now we aren't expecting quite the level of crowds we used to bring to stadiums, but after listening to the players - this is what we decided was the right decision. We're still looking to open and close the season with a big show though

You'll start seeing tastes of the new site soon, but the full site will launch Feb 25th...
Registration for HB will open up Feb 16th and you'll be able to access that from our site at that time.

I can't make it to Atlanta because my daughter is bring baptized that weekend, but some of owners will be there and would be happy to talk with you about the league. Just look for Frank Connell, Gina Telford or Tommy O'Donnell!

I was reading the entry fees and listed on PRO is invite only can you further explain, with the USPL being owned by the "players" does that mean the only pro teams competing are going to be from the list of 16 pro teams

Has any thought been given to hosting a venue in the deep south, say Texas for example?
