Boston 2009 Uspl Event Location?

I know that the schedule has only recently been released, but it seems as though they might have a place in mind, or already has a reservation for a site to host this event.

anyone happen to know where its gonna be at?

Maynard is probably the only field that could handle it. They have (3) 7man Fields....And I would think you would need atleast that.

Parking would be an issue however there is a lot of commercial buildings around with very large parking lots. So Im sure it could be coordinated to have parking off site with a shuttle or somthing.

maynard is the best place field wise, but i highly doubt they can handle the parking for this type of event, not to mention sponsors and trucks with product etc.

This is a big tournament series with the money to hold an event at huntington beach. I doubt it will be held at Maynard would be interesting but they will probably do it at a non-paintball location. Besides to my knowledge they are not affiliated with BP, or the nepl.

Maynard couldn't hold it, not in terms of parking.

Maynard is a great facility, but we can barely fit all of the NEPL players in the parking there.

the way the nppl set there events up they had players paddocks sections off from spectators they dont have that at maynard and the trade show could have some problems. But you have to figure they have over 6 months to think about this

You must not have gone to Captains meeting then. BPS is very involved in the planning of the USPL. Im not sure if anything is "Offical" however they are working with the USPL and helping with the ideas. I believe the whole 4 Regional and 2 National events was Loris idea. Holding it at a non-paintball location cost a lot of money.

I think you guys are expecting the NPPL all over again...USPL is not NPPL and from the sounds of it the events will not be the same. I wouldnt expect a big Trade Show I honestly wouldnt be surprised if there was no Trade Show.

Exactly, this isn't meant to be the NPPL. It is a grass route type deal, with Pro's trying to help the player base develop to grow the sport. This has been in the works since the fall of the NPPL. It will be a great event with what we all want it a National event... Competitive paintball with great competition. Who cares about a trade show that you can buy the same stuff online. PSP is limiting their trade show to only include manufacturers. If there is any trade show it will be small, nothing like that past. I just hope this whole series works out, from the sounds of it Tony Savage and all other parties involved are working their ***** off to bring a top notch series to the paintball community.

Regional, sectional, low cost, high cost..it's still one out of 6 events. It's not going to be the NEPL, and it's definately going to be larger...that much is a given.

I dont know why the venue would be listed as boston paintball if boston paintball wasnt going to be hosting it.

Maynard paintball would make the most sense... look at it from a business perspective on both ends... USPL gets a much cheaper venue with majority of the work already done..(bring in their own bunkers) and other odds and ends, but they dont have to rip down nets and turf, staging area already exists, and is big enough because nationals are broken up into morning and afternoon sessions.... then look at boston paintball... they get HUGE exposure for both their stores and fields.
with both parking lots, top and bottom they enough room, maybe not for a huge trade show, but deffinatley enough for parking, you have to remember that prolly about 2/3 of the teams that traveled from the west coast to play at gillete and brockton in previous years wont travel this year because they have not 1, not 2, but 4 events close to them on the west coast
