well i guess you could say...
"when one thing doesn't work...lets change EVERYTHING"

last year they played the idea of less paint...not there going wait a second...why JUST lower the ROF cap when we can change the ENTIRE setup of things...

yeah lets do that!

morons and money...thats what this boils down to, morons and money.

The 5man games are like this you will have a bracket of 5 teams you play each of those teams best 2 out of 3 but the will not be played back to back you will play 1 game against 1 team and the another and then another at least 8 games with a max of 12 so it's not a mini xball match the games still have a time limit to them the score is that of 5man with flag pull for points and live bodies for points and dead bodies for points , if some one else has already answerd this then I'm sorry for the second post of this

I could be completely off on this. Please correct me if I am. Not sarcasm, I may be wrong.

Last years entry to D3 Xball was 1100.
Race to 5
13.3bps

This years entry to D3 Xball is 1300.
Race to 4
10bps

We moved to 10bps because ONE of the reasons was to save money on paint. How did this help us if we have to spend 200 more on entry. That 200 of which could have been spent on paint. We also get less playing time?

I'm confused.

I had to think long on that , the only thing I can come up with is we are getting the same playing format as psp for half the cost of playing psp in d3 race to 4 , I'm I happy about the price going up ,no I'm not but what can I do my team can't play psp because of the time off from work thing , I wish that prices stayed down this year but maybe the end of the year prizes will be worth play for I hope the prizes for winning a event are uped to match the increase in entry fee as well , as far as less playing time most matches last year had a average of 6 points played with the race to 4 I'm guessing that average won't change , just my guess on things

The saving money on paint thing was BS. It was just the only thing they had that might help us agree to what they were doing. Some of us bought it though. That and the whole, "It makes people need to practice and have more skill." BS line. Like it was stated before.......

...... morons and money......

I completely agree with you. I have played Xball and that is fun with coaching. I just liked 5 man because one great UNSEEN move could completely change the out come of any game. Now that once great move will be broadcast to everyone on the field and will not have the same effect.

This isnt woods ball...we arnt sneaking up on people....Learn some gun skills and U'll be fine.."Not saying u dont have them"

And normally in the lower Divisons...The players rely on their coaches way to much and just sit there waiting on their coach to tell them what to do...Good players/teams will pick up on that

Idk if u guys know this....But the other teams.............Will be shooting 10.5 bps as well

What a f-ing joke? If I didnt love paintball so much I would pray tonight that the CFOA goes out of business and Larry has to go back to building buses.

Coaching in 5 man.... and everyone tried to say fast ramping gun took skill away from the players......

I guess there will be alot of team meeting this weekend....... For the first time in 7 seasons Im going to research my other choices......

GFOA may be an option.... 13.5 and real 5 man.
