Without them, our sport will never achieve the attention it deserves.
God, I hate this!!! I was hoping that PSP would dump it also but somehow, they've only managed to spread the disease. As much as I hate 10.5 BPS, I'll gladly play at 5 BPS if you just shut everyones piehole. But I guess if out of all the things that were changed, the only thing I REALLY have a problem with the this...then it's a good thing.

And since "for the first time ever Paintball will be played by the same rules all across the world", which other leagues are on board with this other then the PSP and EPL? Is the APPA forcing this on whoever uses their services? Just curious.

WOW a lot of changes, I'm still not crazy about the 10.5 BPS but I like the sound of everything else. I think turning the 5 man into a spectator sport is great...CFOA woodsball? Hmmm that should be interesting. I think this all is a step in the right direction to help grow this sport and make it more mainstream. I am sad to say that thanks to the economy and a team that fell apart, I will only be guesting at a few of these events, but will be at all that I can pitting and cheering on my fav teams.

Good luck to all this season

From what I was told any league that is anyone and that wants to be apart of this "new unified world of paintball" will be at the expo this weekend. It's not really answering your question but basically I guess we will know 100% after this weekend.

Awesome to get the INFO! Lots to read and consider! One thing confuses me is the "2008 D3 5 Man - NO promotions outside of CFOA D3 X Ball and PSP" does that mean D3 5man teams "will" or "will not" be promoted? Someone with a bigger brain than me help me out with this one?

no seed points from D3 5man but if you played D3 Xball in CFOA or PSP you might be promoted depending or how your team fared.Thats the way i take it anyway.

like it all except crowd participation. That was my favorite thing about 5man was still being able to make the moves without someone yelling out where you are.

yeah that is the way it is, if you look at 2008 standings for D3, no one shows promoted like it does in others! Will def make D3 more difficult for some teams (and I dont mean just those who played D4 last year and are being bumped) Some very strong D4 teams coming up to play! LOL!

good bye, you will be missed.

I'm not really a fan of the crowd being involved either. To me it takes away just more of the skill level that we use to have.

I like how the 10.5 BPS cap is there to bring skill back to the game but BAM they throw the left hook of Sideline coaching for everyone...

You read my mind. I started to post that in the post above you but left my PC and when I came back I totally went a different direction.

I'm not going to rant about the format or the rof, because both of those are fine with me. What I will rant about is how the CFOA is following in the PSP's greedy ways. **** PSP and CFOA if they are going to tell me that paying more to play less is better...

This is quite simple...the CFOA doesnt want to promote 5-man D3 cause the will lose players (money) and will promote D3 xball because they will goto D2 xball...

Regarding the rate of fire, I've been playing 10bps for like the past couple of weeks so I'm excited about the bump up, I guess you could say. lol
