The New Iphone Verizon is Here
Until now Verizon was unable to offer iPhone for their customer because of their network CDMA. When Apple decide to create a smart phone they close the deal with AT&T and they are using a global system called GSM, a technology more popular worldwide. In a Customer Report survey published last month AT&T was ranked as the worst USA carrier because of the many problems and complaints about dropping calls and losing signal especially in big cities.
In the meantime Verizon was ranked 2nd best by client reports survey, this and the changes made on the CMDA carrier in the preceding years might be the cause why Apple decide to sell the new iPhone trough Verizon Wireless Network.

70%? Check your percentages dude.
However it is off its lows, due to a valuation bounce. This stock is still valued cheap with cash value more than the value of its shares. High quality Assets in turkey and South Eastern Europe and still one of the few profitable banks in Europe today.
This is a pure play on the Greek Recovery with diversification in turkish banking and South Eastern Europe. The bank also owns hotels and other various business in the green energy space.
Greece is planning to build the largest solar project in the world starting 2013 which will employ thousands and help get the economy going and stay competitive. Right now it is a tourist attraction of europe and a ship port cash cow due to its remote location, They are not trying to turn into an energy hub for europe with various different energy projects in the makings and planned.
Remember Germany had a terrible economy until it turned into an export driven economy. This is just a slow cycle in the routine which will happen everywhere, this is due to debt and manipulation by previous governments in Greece. So here is your opportunity to turn a crisis into an opportunity.
Check out my blog for more info.
Any one else have takes on NBG. I am interested in listening to valid arguments or points backing up my statements.

Investment nubb here; I've got a hypothetical for anyone who cares to humor me with a response:
Political dissidence increases in Saudi Arabia and the likelihood of a shift in power that isn't favorable for the U.S. continually increases. Obviously this will have a negative effect on business in the country/region, and I'm going to guess that the degree to which businesses suffer is directly related to the likelihood of/degree of change happening, correct?
What effect would this have on oil companies (and their stocks) based in the Americas? I know that question is vague as **** and there are a bunch of very general things that could greatly affect a lot of things, but anyone have any ideas?

anyone invested in SLV?
Made some bad prior decisions, lost a large percent of my money, then bout SLV at ~$21, now its right around $33. I should have just invested from the start, when i started investing last year it was $17. kick myself over that one. Damn greed!

Anyone follow CREE much? They make led's for various lighting applications.
They've crashed lately. I just feel that led lighting will take off in a couple years. I think CREE is one of the best LED companies for efficiency as well, which they usually mention as lumens per 1 watt.
I followed the company since I bought this flashlight with one of their led's. Amazing how bright they are. Big problem is cost of production still though.

I do, but I had some money in PANL that I shouldn't of taken out because I was bored. It was 20 when I threw some money at it, now it's almost 60. PANL OLEDs probably going to take CREE down eventually. OLEDs are more durable and cost efficient.

Can you use OLED's for area lighting or do they just make them for displays?

There's an issue of excess capacity in that industry. Lots of players with a relatively homogenous product too. Their main growth will come from electronic devices, any other type of area lighting or whatever shouldn't be too material to their revenue stream. I'd considered them a play on the proliferation of LED based electronics. They've gotten hit recently but they still aren't cheap at 10.4x EBITDA and 23.5x earnings.

What are your takes on Alcoa (AA)? Down 6% so far today after their earnings didnt hit expectations. 1-5? 1 being buy more for cheap - 5 RUN!! I'm talking long term here. I kind of feel like I should buy more for cheap and keep buying as it drops, because eventually the primary producer of aluminum will have to rebound. Let me hear your feedback please!
