any idea what's wrong with the valve? as in, is there a chance it's just a little dry and hisses, or maybe the seller didn't cock the gun before airing it up?
also, you'll definitely need that valve tool. if your shop has cocker stuff, they should have valve tools, otherwise, it might be worth asking if they have one you can borrow for a few minutes (instead of paying them $10 to do it for you).

IDK whats wrong with the valve, it hasnt arrived yet, but the auction says it was bad from the factory. Auction says it still fires just fine but there is a leak. I was planning on eventually putting a MQ2 in anyway, but wanted a e or e2 right off the bat, so when I found a auction with a e2 and a MQ2 i just about crapped my pants with excitement
if i install the MQ2 though will i need a valve tool for anything?

you'll need it to remove the stock valve. actually, getting the stock valve out of my superstock to make room for the mQ is the only reason i bought a valve tool.

besides a brain and some common sense, not really. everything else can be done with allen keys and a crescent wrench. although, if you adjust the reg too far in either direction, you can chew up some of the orings, and you might need a tool to get the retaining clip out of the bottom of the reg, but as long as you don't go all the way up or down, you'll be fine.

If you are only going to remove the nut and not have to put it back in I belive a 11/16 (correct me if I'm wrong) allen wrench will do the job, you will just have to push against the valve spring and unscrew. You only need the tool to make it easier to reinstall but even then its not really necessary with a little duct tape to stop it from riding up the shaft......... and after all that i found my valve tool

not really, not since moody closed down.
its pretty easy though, and you'll probably just want to leave it on factory fast while getting your mq valve setup.
the eblade manual is nice, a good read through should give you a good idea of how to tune the board. really the only things you may want to change from factory fast are the eye delays and trigger filters.

ok i found a timing guide and the manual, read them both over, i have the e2, now i am just waiting for the superstock to arrive but i have a few more questions
so i decided i dont like the magnetic trigger return, is there any way of making it a spring return? (im thinking no but i have to ask)
also I am not a fan of the stock trigger, any suggestions for new ones?
also, i am looking for some thinner grips (im used to my UL frame so the e2 feels huge) any suggestions on those?
