So i downloaded a couple skins off bringyourownpaint.com and i extracted them and put them in the models folded and clicked yes to replace the original skins. They didn't show up in the game so i then tried to restart steam but they still didn't show up. Is there something that i am doing wrong?

download the skin to your desktop. label it v_timmy.mdl or w.e. one you want it to replace...... open up your modles folder under c:/program files/steam/ steam apps/ hl/dpb/ modles and dont extract anything drag the file from your desktop directly over the other v_timmy.mdl and click yes replace the og.
