You would have to remove the Prop shaft internals which are supposed to not be user-serviceable. Assuming you do this successfully without messing anything up I assume it could be anno'd and work fine.

That pretty much covers it.

It can be done, but you do so at your own risk. If your Prop has been anodised, then it is obvious that a non-user servicable part has been disassembled, which could effect your warranty, certainly in relation to the Prop Shaft, if nothing else.

What if it is anno'd by an eclipse tech?

Anno'ing your parts voids your warranty. Dissassembly of your prop shafts components also voids your warranty. Regardless of who dissassembles your prop shaft, your warranty is going to be void (especially in regards to your prop shaft) if you have it anno'd, period. I would just leave it black. Noeone can even notice it when your playing and it still matches enough to go with anything.

No Eclipse Tech is authorised to anodise so that clears that one up
