I sent sushifish11 my cocker body to have him thread the feedneck and tap the right side for a detent(it was already drilled, he just needed to thread it). He told me it would take 2-3 days to do.
So i sent out my cocker body on the 14th of October and he received it on the 16th of October.

He talked to me on the 16th(Oct.) basically saying he was starting to work on it.

Then on the 28th(Oct.) he told me "it would be shipping out with wednesdays shipment"

So by November 5th, i still hadent recieved it back or heard from him so i sent him a message. and he read it and didnt reply.

Then i sent him a message on the 7th saying"any updates? its been about 3 weeks since youve had it and you said it would take 2-3 days to finish,and it has been a over a week since you said you were shipping it out"
and he replies;
"Yea sorry about that, i haven't been in the shop for a few days, we had to order a specialty thread mill bit, we use to have one but apparently it was misplaced. You will have you autococker back by next weekend."

That, on the 8th of November was the last Ive heard from him.
I sent him 2 messages last weekend asking for an update but he just read the messages and never replied.

So here are my questions:

1. Can anyone see any reason why it would take over a month to thread a feedneck and detent hole?

2. Has anyone dealt with sushifish11 before? If so, how was your experience with him?

the tap for the feedneck might be what's holding him up. they r not common

yeah thats why i was asking here, since i know he sells cocker parts and posts in here sometimes.

i doubt hes a scammer. if he still replies to you then i wouldnt think he is

i doubt hes a scammer also, im just wondering if anyone has had problems with him before(like if he is just really slow). this could be a one time thing, i know whenever you do anything, there are always problems, but him reading the messages and not replying is a little sketchy

yeah that could be it, but i dont know why he wouldnt just tell me he hasnt got the tap yet.

my shop was going to re tap my feedneck then they said it would to to long and that i should check back later months ago...

when he did the machining of my body, he sqeezed the body out of round a bit...I have to use a larger o ring to seal it

it works and it took a month and a half

I'm currently dealing with him , he has replied to all my emails until lately this week. I understand that machine work takes awhile sometimes and i asked for quite a bit. It just gets me nervous that he hasn't replied in a little while. You get your cocker back yet?

ive seen his work before from what i remember .. i cant find the post but he doesnt sit at his computer all the time...he is hard working and explained he worked like 12 hour days and doesnt come on here that often...not that im trying to say he shouldnt give updates...just that he prob is busy working...
