We'll there are two approaches.

1. Gather up some friends, start a new team and register for a tournament together. I like the DBS tournaments best but I'm not sure if Danny will be running more events this season. CDR and Grandview events are a good time. Watching this forum is a good way to determine when the next beginer 3-man event is coming up.

2. Find an existing team that based out of a local field and ask if you can start practicing with them.

Definitely keep an eye out on the forum, but the season is starting to wind down. If you are feeling adventurous, coming to out on a thursday night at DBS outdoor or attending a DBS clinic is a great way to learn some skills but it's kind of trial by fire if you are newish

You can take the initiative if you're serious and contact some of these other folks posting here as free agents. Probably good advice for many of the free agents really.

This is exactly the way I found myslef competing in my first tournament on my first team. Give it a shot, I doubt you'll regret it!
