26 pounds 30 days
Ok I started out 6'5" 340 pounds. 30 days later 314. I totally transformed my diet and hit the gym 3 times a week, although I missed a whole week due to an ankle injury from work. So I only made it to the gym 9 times. I know these results are not typical and was wondering how it can effect my health to loose weight that quick.
Anyone else loose that much weight that fast? Curious to know what to expect next month.

You must have went on the starvation diet. It is not the correct way to diet but it is better than sitting on your *** and stuffing another donut down your throat.
Your weight loss will eventually plateau and to be honest, dont get your hopes up on looking good naked. Most likely the majority of that weight you lost was any muscle mass that you had underneath your fat. The body burns muscle before fat and no one just looses 26 pounds of pure fat in a month

That was fast, but you had a lot of weight to lose. It sill probably slow down in the future as your body adapts. I would hit the gym more if I were you

I am going to a closed gym and seeing a personal trainer. And I'm lifting more than ever, which is still not much. I don't feel as if I have lost any muscle mass. If anything I think it increased. As for diet I feel like I'm eating a ton. I have been surfing the fitness fourm for a couple months now reading everything. So I have aquired what I think is a good diet. Lots of protein. Fish, nuts, whey protein shakes. I eat 4 eggs every morning 2 without yellows. With some all wheat toast and either fruit smoothie or protein shake depending. I usually have an orange and nuts for snack. Lunch usually turkey sandwich pepperjack honey mustard all wheat bread. Salad snack with vinegarette dressing. Dinner fish or chicken breast with steamed veggies and or brown rice. Bedtime cottage cheese. Follow all that up with 2+ gallons of water a day multi vitamin, fish oil, and flax seed.

its always easiest at the beginning, especially with losing weight. It will get harder and you will be losing it slower, the lower you go

I really can not go more than that. I might be able to squeeze one more day in there. I'm up 21 hours out of the day. And I spend 17 of that time working. The rest eating driveing showering. I do that monday thru Saturday. Sunday catch up on sleep laundry and go to the store. So when I say I don't think I can make it to the gym anymore than I do, it's not an excuse I really don't know where to squeeze it in.

I see it happen all the time when I was on wrestling.
Some fat kids would come in, theyd lose weight like 60 pounds in a month and a half was the most I've seen.
but they were working out 4 hours every day of the week for that whole time, unless you were starvin marvin, dunno how u did it.

Back when I first started working out I went from 200 down to 180 in a month. I did a 180* on my diet and started working out 5 days a week and had a little help from Hydroxycut w/ephedra. However, most of the time its not healthy to lose that much weight that quickly. Being as heavy as you are starting out, that's not too shabby . Keep at it!

I really doubt this.
If you're losing weigh this fast with such a little amount of activity, you're really malnourished and dehydrated.

Probably water weight. I imagine you ate a lot of sodium high foods with your past diet and thus retained a lot of water.
You should think about losing weight slower as if you keep this up you'll have a lot of extra skin and may need surgery.

Your diet looks great, I didn't see anything wrong with it. Just make sure you're getting enough protein. How many shakes do you take a day?

Your diet looks 100% legit. Honestly, at 340 pounds and from what I'm assuming was a terrible diet and a day full of little exertion, to going to a well balanced diet and time in the gym, your results could almost be expected. If you keep it up, you really should expect to keep dropping off the pounds for a while. Eventually it will level off, but at that point you should be within 50 pounds or so of your goal and should be able to push through with a little more effort in the gym. Again, your diet looks pretty spot on. Most of your carbs are early on in the day, lots of protein, some healthy fats... It looks good. Would you mind breaking it down into calories, and grams of macros? (be sure to check serving sizes)/
