Who Plays PUMP in the Chicago Area ?? Tournament ?

I'd give it a try possibly, I see a large increase in pump players with the Economy going down the drain pump will be the better option when it comes to paint consumption and saving money.

Wow, big response.

You guys that don't have pumps. Check the B/S/T pump section.

I recommend open class autocockers with constant air for most of you guys trying out pump. Which means you use a regular hopper and a regular air supply.

Stock class( limited paint in a tube on top of your gun) with 12 grams(small CO2 cartridges with about 20 shots in efficient guns) would be too much of a learning curve for a tourney, even a fun tourney.

Generaljoes sells a nice autococker pump for 199.00 and CCM and CCI will be at the SPE in bloomington April 18th and 19th. Lots of good private deals in the parking lot.

We can show our love by actually signing up for the event once they get the details squared away. Talking about it on the internet is one thing, but its still going to be tough to put this together and get enough teams. I know I will be trying to put a squad in though.

So how is the planing going? Fields? dates? Ideas? Good Luck with the event! [no dodgy]

I play, and have been waiting for pump tournies in the IL!!! I went to the badlandz summer big game with my sniperII i just got, and everybody but the reffs and some nice guys thought i was on crack or was out of date, lol.

OK this is taking longer than I thought.

I would like to start this event off NOW along with another I haven't mentioned yet on the "upcoming events" thread. I have the series all planned out along with another (psp 5) same day, 4 events, prizes, etc. Just waiting to hear back from a certain indoor Chicagoarea field's manager. I guess he's gone for his birthday this last weekend. OOP'S did I say too much ? If this doesn't happen now then the post on WHEN and which outdoor field will be up next. No Excuses.

Whoohooot! Just picked up a Trilly Pro for cheap...one $40 conversion and a six pack (soda) and my pump will be ready! (I think I already lost parts off the field rental pump I got last season...doh).

Heck, even before a tourney everyone chips in for a private game at Fox? It's not that much and BYOP!

It would give some ppl a taste of it before tournaments are started, to see if it is something they get addicted to (you know they will....).

I would bring one if not two 3man teams down from the land of cheese to play some pump with you guys. We have been playing pump out in the freezing cold every weekend since winter started and were itching for some competition. I'm going to continue watching this thread for some kind of date.

Ah, I see my name got dropped in here.

My Phantom is somewhere around here; kinda trying to get my regular balling setup working right now, seeing how I know my pumpgun **** works.

EDIT: I posted in here, whoops. C-dub, i'll drive if you pull another IPW player into this. I'll steal my mom's car and you two can fill it up with gas, haha.

Sudden Impact always has a great turnout for the pump event. They outnumber the guys at practice by alot on that sunday.
