Stryker EMX-1000 Bolt
Hey there everyone. This is my first post here. I got one of these kinda just to play around with my girlfriends little brother and after about 15 rounds the plastic bolt broke. I glued it back together and it worked for another 150 rounds and then it broke again. So i called stryker and they are sending me another bolt, but i was wondering if anyone knows where i can get a metal bolt for it. I have read that some spyder bolts fit it and i wanted to know if anyone knew which one worked with it. Thanks in advance.

Nope, spyder bolts don't fit. Wrong length. It's uses the same bolt that's in top cocking Viewloader and Brasseagle guns. This one...

will work. Don't bother with the 'low blow' version, but the standard will work. It's delrin (i.e. plastic), but it's one solid piece, so it won't break.

Haven't purchased from their myself, but I haven't heard anything bad. They're the manufactuer, so that's the only place to get that specific aftermarket bolt.
There's one or two others available out there, I'll have to do a little looking.

Kinda old.. but i need help..
I realize how old this thread is but its the only one i have found here. But i bought a Stryker EXM 1000 for $10. Of course the plastic faulty bolt is broken. I need to find either a new bolt that is the same one, or one made of metal. Most i have found however cost more then the gun is worth.. can someone help me out?

I wouldn't say they cost more than the gun is "worth". Definitely more than you paid for it though.
Bolts tend to be the part lost most often on these. Since they're no longer in production (company was bought by KEE, and their entry level stacked tube blowbacks are based on the PMI Piranha) replacement parts are drying up pretty fast. You might be able to find another gun for the same price that's nearly complete, just make sure that one has a bolt. Parts should be cross compatible with most Viewloader blowbacks and later Brass Eagle metal blowbacks (like the Afterburner, older Avengers are a bit too different).
A bolt from a Stryker STR-1 might fit...

...but no guaranties.

It sure looks the same, and cheap. Whats the worse that can happen. im out another $10.. lol. Do you think the bolt from the STR-1 might increase the velocity? When this gun was first used it couldnt get over 250 when it was chronoed.

Hard to say. Those spring loaded anti-chop bolts were always a bit finicky. It might have been partially contracting with the shot, causing less of a seal in the breach, and misalignment with the air passageway in the body. That would bring down the velocity. Of course so will a dirty gun.

So i found my EMX 1000, and my bolt is broken also. I assume no one has found any other blot out there that works for sure in this gun? I would like to have it fixed instead of just junking it
