Haha I got a strap in the top v notch that makes it look like I'm on my side.
Front locker got me halfway through, but I needed a rear locker to finish the job.

Only help I had all day, and other than rock rash underneath, I came out unscathed.

I'd take the '12 all day long. Better engine and auto tranny by a huge margin.

I'd take the 6 speed ALL DAY over the 42rle auto if I had an 07-11 JK. The 2012, it'd be a tough choice. The new auto is much better and the 6 speed is unchanged. As for being dogs, have you driven a 6 speed 2012? It'd blow the doors off my TJ and, as you know, a properly geared 4.0 isn't a slouch.

Yea I owned one for about 2 months. A lot of problems and horrible power distribution made me trade it in.

For what I'm using this car for (daily commuter and maybe this summer for going out on the beach down the Cape) those are things I absolutely wanted.

No plans on beating the hell out of a $28,000 car just yet. Maybe later on in its life

JKU's were meant to be on 40's. That's a well-done rig from what I can see. It would be so awesome with half doors all around.

i like the last one, although i'm not sure if hes talking about the 305 or the 360 (if they still had the 360 in them). i've looked at CJs for a long time. never bought one, found a vette and went with that. although i think i might sell my yj too. will get a cj7 in a 86 half year.

If it's a factory V8 in the CJ7 it'd be a 304 and only in the Renegade or the Golden Eagle. 360 never came in the 7 and a 305 is a Chevy engine....

My guess is it's probably a 350 swap.

I've always liked the 7 and 8's. The 5's are just too short of a wheelbase and both the 5 and 6 had the small doors and short bed sides.
