Thats good to hear haha....I was hoping they wouldn't be crucial to anything, My deadline is down to 3 weeks, so it was going on regardless.

I have a club mandatory tech inspection this Saturday, then I'll start getting everything put on before the big Moab drive.

600 miles there, 3 FULL days of wheeling, 600 miles back.

Not going to be the most comfortable drive in a Jeep haha, wish I at least had cruise control.

just bought an 04 wrangler x for the beach house. 5 spd. gem mint body (took me bout 4 months to find one..especially with the weather conditions i face). no rust. soft top. 48k miles. $10k.

at the shop currently getting lifted, ar23 w/ bfg all terrains, replacing the fenders.

on hold: magna flow high flow cat, flowmaster super 40/50 (dont know which one yet). kn filter. throttle body. rear disc brakes (when the front brakes need to be replaced). new seats. tubular doors?? maybe on that one.

my father had a cj7 a while back. missed that thing. i was looking into the jk's but they are too "modern" for me.

one thing i do want is keyless entry. however i was told i would need to modify the electrical system heavily for it to run. is that true???

Learn how to work on it yourself. Simple as pie.

Also, learn what's useful and what's not. The throttle body and K&N filter fall into the latter.

Front axle shaft u joints? Any u joint is easy as long as you understand what needs to happen. Otherwise, it sucks.

Yeah and this will be my first time changing one. I have done almost all the repairs on this jeep myself already cuz my buddy doesnt know what hes doing. Me and his gf do all the work

Hahaha first thing that popped up under "srt8 offroad" I got a good laugh out of it.

Shoulda bought a wrangler....or at least something without IFS

Like I was saying though, id like to see a built one. SAS, and at least 35/37's :drool:

Any ideas on cost to fix, or how easy to fix it myself? Take in mind, I don't have a lot of time on my hands. Glad I got my kia to get me around.

Yeah but if I get a lift kit it would be a 2.5" which I couldn't use the shocks I just bought a few weeks ago for. My front leaf springs are about flat so im thinking just get new stock springs.

so new stock leafs all the way around for 400 or 2.5 kit for 525 + new shocks

but I still think I could tuck some 33x12.5 at stock height
