The MTR-K is a superior tire in EVERY way possible. Let me help you....

Stronger sidewalls
Lighter weight
Less weight to balance (my observation)
Smoother on the road
Quieter
HUGE advantage in traction on wet or dry rocks--this is where the tire shines
Equally great wear
Very deep tread
Great in the snow
Bigger (closer to nominal size)
Sexier
Cheaper

That should leave you no reason to choose the KM2. I've ran both and will continue to choose the MTR-K until I can't get them anymore. Absolutely incredible tire. If you don't have the drivetrain to support 37's, then get the KM2. The lack of traction and smaller size will help the vehicle survive.

What's up guys? I recently picked up a 96 ZJ for $300. Seller thought it needed a lot more work then it actually did. So score for me. I am having an issue with the seatbelt/airbag light. When I start the Jeep the normal gauges and lights come on and go away. Except for the seatbelt light. I did some digging online and found out that if the lights flashes and then stays on it has something to do with the Air Bag. Thing is, when the car first starts the air bag light will come on and then go off. I am thinking that either the clockspring is bad (I still have cruise control and horn function though.) or the seatbelt latch sensor is bad. Where is the seatbelt sensor and how can I confirm it is bad?

checked that. followed the wire as far as I could. Tugged on it a little when my hand couldn't go any further and it felt tight, not like it was loose and I could pull the free end out.

Perhaps the end may be caught on something? I'll try to dig deeper into the seat area to see what I can find. I have an appt with the garage on the corner of my road on Monday to get a tire and an inspection, so I'll see if they can throw a reader on the car and see if the air bag is throwing any codes or what the issue is.

Had a remote start & alarm installed on my manual JK last week, all I can say it is awesome to have a remote start in the winter again. No more walking out and starting the Jeep and going back inside or sitting in a cold vehicle again.

well, i ****ed my self on this one. the lid on my overflow doesn't seal, so it is always losing a little coolant. so i forgot to check it and i over heated my 4.2, i'm just hoping i didn't **** up the rings or the head. took about a gallon and a little extra to fill it back up. their was some steam coming out of the overflow. ****

Anyone know of an agressive looking tire that will give a lot of miles on the highway? I'm set on the toyo open country m/t right now, i've seen 2 friends get over 45k with them. Any other ideas?

LOL last FJ that tried to run with us ended up puncturing one of his AT KO's, scratching up those pretty rims, and pinstriping his brand new paint.....

then he got butthurt that we went on "too difficult of a trail"

anyone know where to get replacement molding? Looked everywhere and can't find anything except at the Jeep dealership here in town, and they are way overpriced.
