Which trigger to get for the epiphany
i have a smart parts epiphany and have been shooting it for one season. i like it a lot including the trigger, but i dont think that its sensitive enough. i was just wondering what the best trigger is for the epiphany.
thanks a lot

Really, it's whatever feels best to you. I've used some triggers which I thought were great and my friends hated and vice versa.

I agree with FallNAngel it's all personal preference. I just installed a CP Sling in mine with the spring and for me it's a big plus. I'm not very good at walking blade triggers. So I slapped it in there and to be perfectly honest, I'm afraid i'm going to break the board. I'm firing it with the stock board and it's pushin the limit in pure semi. I do not think I'm firing it at 20 bps but it's enough to create shot drop off when it didn't use to with the magnet. I also know i'm shooting it faster than I did with the stock trigger.

I can walk my Epiphany very easy with the stock trigger, the trigger has more weight to it then most upgrades, but that extra weight makes the trigger very light with its magnet/spring. As said above though, its preference. I use my finger tips when walking.

Nope. I've used mine at least 15 times and it's still true forwards and back.

That was one of the selling points of the Epiphany when they brought it out. And for as much as I have used mine, it still does not "wobble" side to side.

Be very careful if installing any CP triggers in an Epi frame. Even after you shave the length, check the depth of the plunge carefully and make sure it is not plunging too far. What I have seen is that the CP trigger, in order to get the feel you want, will be 'over plunging' and actually making hard contact with the trigger switch housing and can cause irreparable damage to the trigger micro switch. In order to correct this, you would need to use a dremel, or something like it, to shave a couple of mils off the trigger actuator so as not to cause damage and allow for correct trigger adjustment.
I speak from experience and not conjecture. Killed a brand new Tadao board by the plunge going to far. Back to stock now as I still did not like the feel of the CP sling blade after I shaved it in both places. The actuator block is just not quite in the right spot to get is tweaked real close to the trigger frame back, that is where I like mine.
