Redcoats versus Rebels at Splat Action, Mar. 5th

The year is 1777. The Philadelphia campaign is in full swing and it looks like it’s going to be a nasty winter for everyone. The British Redcoats have mobilized to capture the seat of the American Congress and destroy General Washington’s army in the field. Can the ragtag Rebel militiamen of Philadelphia stop them? Will the Redcoats capture the American capital and end the war in one fell swoop? You decide! Come join Rogue Legion for a full day of intense scenario battles at Splat Action Paintball Park in Molalla on Saturday, March 5th. For field details and directions to Splat Action Paintball Park, go to www.splataction.com, or call 503-467-1855. To contact Rogue Legion, email us at rogue.legion.paintball@gmail.com or visit the Rogue Legion Facebook page.

Each round will go for one hour with unlimited re-spawns for all players. First briefing starts at 10:30am.

Game One: The Battle of Short Hills (11:00am – 12:00pm)
The American and British forces have engaged in their first action of the campaign. The army of Lord Cornwallis has attempted a flanking maneuver to cut off Washington’s line of retreat. A few small, fortified artillery positions on the high ground will decide the battle. The Redcoats send their famed light infantry to attack the guns on the hill, while the Rebels rush the militiamen to reinforce the position. Each team will compete to make sure that either the Stars-and-Stripes or the Union-Jack is flying on the hill at game end.
Game Two: The Siege of Philadelphia (1:00pm – 2:00pm)
After losing the battle of Brandywine Creek, Washington and the American Congress have been forced to abandon Philadelphia. However, the general has ordered the militiamen to delay the British as long as possible and take down as many Redcoats as they can in the process. Every bit of ground, both inside and outside of the city, will be fought over. In this round, each side will try to inflict as many casualties on the other team as possible, while also seizing the other sides battle standard and returning it to their general.
Game Three: The Valley Forge Raid (3:30pm – 4:30pm)
Washington has successfully withdrawn to Valley Forge, confident that he can emerge in the spring with a fresh army. However, that won’t happen if his men starve over the winter. The militiamen have been sent out to secure supplies from the besieging British, but an accidental fire in the storehouse has put a ticking clock on the raid for both sides. Not wanting to starve themselves, the Redcoats move to seize the soon-to-be burning goods as fast as possible, before the Rebels can claim them all for themselves. Each team will compete to reach the storehouse, retrieve what supplies they can carry, and then return them to their base.

Raffle: Each paid entry will earn one ticket for the raffle and every member of the winning team for each round will receive an additional ticket. The drawing will be held at the end of the day.
