The melee thing sounds like good news for those of us who love being hunters on versus. Nothing pisses me off more than getting meleed out of the air and dying before I can do a damn thing to the survivors.

On the other hand, it's going to make playing as a survivor much more difficult.

Is the melee cap. only in versus or is it in campaign as well (if so, maybe I should finish getting that last Veteran level before I update).

the melee cooldown is in versus only on pc, i assume its the same on xbox

If you run your own server hes little tip.. In your config with the new command they give (mp_gamemode [coop,versus,survival])

You cant put like mp_gamemode coop,versus,survival and then switch whenever you want.. Have to edit your config each time if you want to go from versus to survival or other way around etc. So im saying can only put one in at time.. kinda lame thought maybe could run whatever/whenever meh

What are some of your guys's best times in survival, I've only gotten silver on one or two no gold yet...

Bronze, but I only played for 20 minutes

yeah, my friends and i got 9:02 i believe on the last stand which was the closest we could get to gold. havent played any of the other ones.


survival mode is fun. its mad chaos after a few minutes

One of my friends got 12:48 on the first level of blood harvest, and we got 8:50 something on the streets on Death Toll, it was really easy, we just used all our molotovs and pipebombs too early.

Where's the best place to holdup on the lighthouse level? We usually go to the top but that doesn't seem to work very well when the tanks come and smokers drag you off...
