I understand it from a business perspective. Many fields are FPO due to economic reasons. Honestly to play for less than $70 for a day with a case of paint is not bad.

OPGT had to go to FPO for several reasons, of which we will not go into, but it as a hard choice to make. OPGT was the last of the large parks to go to FPO...(or some type of membership card).

While we understand that FPO is not for eveyone, Most (not all) of the people on the nation upset by this choice are walk on/speedballers. OPGT has never been /had a large speedball following . So we do want to try to fit in everyone. it is an almost impossiable task.

We will be offering a season pass with paint discounts and other specials to try to cut the cost of the regular players. This a new deal for us , after 12 years of being byop, it is hard on us to have all the answers right away.

We hope that you will give us a chance and we value any input from our customers. (come out and tell colin what type of paint you like, we cant stock it all but enough request come in.....) If we are not for you, that to is OK, we wish you well and hope you have a good day playing at other parks.

Hope to see you at the field

All I want is paint that breaks on target for under $45 / case. Heat is not the answer. I think Official needs to check out good tourney grade paint that runs about that price. Nelson, Beast....

A tourney grade for under $45...not gonna happen.

The cost of paint at the field is moe than the cost of paint at a store, because the overhead is bigger.

And we did not check ou Nelson we did check on beast and since they have to shipp it to us in advance and we could not get paint (same day) should we run low are out, & sice the cost was almost the same (shipping included) .
It was a better choice for us and the customer to go the way we did. we will...WILL be trying out several paint Brands over th next month or 2 till we find some that the majority like.

And heat is not intended to be the answer for tourney grade paint...it is the paint used for RENTAL equipment...Tourney grade means a higher price.
Can't really expect to buy a Corvette and pay a Ford Festia price can you.

all you need to do to buy a tournament grade paint for $45 is to cough up your $1500+ psp entry fee, and you are there...........

Beast is tourney grade paint for $45 / case. It's why I used to shoot it all the time.

Nelson Hemorrhage is tourney grade paint and is less that $45 / case.

Obviously HEAT isn't tourney grade paint, but I'm not happy paying $42 / case for Heat when I can get Nelson or Beast for $45.

What is official charging for ZEN?
How much for Marbs?

If you can get Tourney Grade Paint then buy it, and go find somewhere else to play that is BYOP..

People dont understand things these days..Basically if you go buy paint straight from the Paint company..You arent really helping them out in anyway just giving them money basically..While on the other hand if you buy paint from a field your helping that field "staying alive" so there can be a place for you to actually play Paintbullets..Yes some fields bump up prices a little more then should be but sometimes they got to so they can stay alive for YOU to play..

Dude. I have no problem buying paint from my field. I'd love to. I'm just complaining about the paint they are selling and for the price. If you can get better grade paint and still sell it at the same price for a profit why not do it? I'm only offering a suggestion and stating the facts. I love offical. Great people and great refs... but that doesn't mean I don't have the right to ***** about the paint.

OPGOT decision to go FPO is a decision that benefits the players, the field and the game/sport of paintball

no doubt after they test all the different paints it will be smooth sailing from there

I personally like the recent formulations of ZEN FPO for general use, HEAT FPO for the rentals and for the guys with established wallets and money the wife doesn't know about- the ALLSTAR PRO.
