So the refs at PBC leave a lot to be desired.

Just seems like some of the refs are just there to fill space. Plus for some reason they seem to single my group out. Like last week I was teching my marker no hopper no barrel frame apart from the body trying to find a leak and one of the refs flipped on me about dry firing while it was apart. Seems to only be issues when sauna isn't the head ref.

seems mighty thin for a public gripe... especially given the numbers they cycle through there on a regular basis. I'll agree they are very tough on safety issues... but that is probably a good thing.

well he saw me dissemble the whole thing. It may be thin I go there like every other weekend, or i try due to work. It just seems some of the non regular refs let the fact they are a ref go to their head.

How about some of the stupid refs that are afraid to come give you a paint check.

Again to me this happens with the "one day" refs that give me the most hassle. I think they let anyone be a ref as long as you are buddy's with them.

I can see dry firing becoming a problem. one guy does it, then a whole team, then players are shooting in the parking lot, then players are shooting out the windows on the ride home.. best to nip it in the bud. zero tolerance. You were probably expecting some judgement when none was needed.

The right approach after being reprimanded would be to walk into the pro shop and ask Geoff or Buski what the fields policy on dry firing in the parking lot is. The ref could have been doing exactly as he was trained to do.. and knowing Skeeter that's exactly what happened.

I asked Shauna the very first day I play, about early last year, she said it is ok as long as my barrel is off and my hooper is off.

The point is the head refs dont have a real set rule book on thing, outside the 5 min talk about the normal rules, it changes every time. Example My friend plays pistol and he talked to Shauna about a barrel plug she said it is ok as long as it is holstered. Well about a month later on of the head refs tell him that he needs a barrel cover, it doesnt really fit since the barrel doesnt really stick out, then we go there the next weekend and another head ref tells him to completely remove the barrel since it doesnt really fit.

We follow the head refs rules every time ,ask before do, but it changes with every head ref. Then the normal refs, the normal ones are cool, the one time refs are the worst since they think just cus their refs they know all.

sup air (think thats it, crap. now i have to go look at pics and see)
and sunday we had the world cup layout running.
speedball will be down for a few weeks for a 24hr scenario on the 16-17th. but probably will have same layout back up.
usually have most recent PSP layout up when we play.
