Water Dipping Transfer?

Has anyone used this process on their guns before? I know they mostly do them for hunting rifles and stuff but i've never seen a pball gun before? i found a website who says they can do pball guns (www.freedomgraphix.com) and was wondering if anyone has any pics of this type of covering?

SPO gear has done some guns, the biggest problem is fading. If you use your gun with any frequency the print will fade off to some degree. Search around this forum, there have been multiple threads on this subject.

Diving doesn't make it rub off, the constant gripping it does. It will fade slowly though, maybe not as much if you're using it for woodsball.

depends, i conatcted some companies that do that and to begin with they said they can do it to any hard surface that doesnt get affected by water, and that it have a coat like the cars has, so maybe it wouldnt scratch that easy, but for speedball definitely anodizing

Thats really cool, but doesnt it only put it on one side, then you have to dip the other, leaving a crease?

A good printer can do it without leaving a noticeable crease. The crease is there of course, but if it's done right, you can barely see it.

The durability really depends on the quality of the clear coat used over the pattern. We cleared over some hunting rifles and compound bows that had this process done. We used Duracoat clear coat and over a year later they still look new.
