I'm looking for a decent backup as well as a gun for my brother to use.

Someone at cup said once they bought their SLG, they fired a shot and the bolt "exploded", so they got it replaced. I've heard similar stories of people sending in their bolts for new ones. I was wondering if it had anything to do with the bolt being made of composite material (is this even true idk what they look like). I remember reading a rumor on here somewhere that Billy Wing was working on getting an aluminum or some other metal bolt as replacements for the 09. Is anyone else experiencing problems w/ their bolt?

Also, there is no LPR correct? How would that be a negative thing and how does it affect you?

I'm thinking about whether I need to wait b/f the new bolts are developed.
