Sup everyone! live in southern OH, Portsmouth that is, and im trying to figure out where everybody is playing? speedball of course. i haven't played of a year or 2 and i just found out that what use to be my local field shut down JDR's
I talked to a few friends and they said that not to many local boys play anymore and that it pretty much an out of town sport.

So where you playing or who plans on starting a new field, or am im i going to have to start a new field my self? Air field that is

there is this at the top of the page called zipcode... you enter it..and a map comes up and it shows you all the local fields in your area...

then there is this 2nd thing called "regional forums". If you click on Ohio... I bet you might find an answer.

I think Seek and Destroy is down there, along with TPA and i-70 paintball, not sure though, I think they are in southern ohio

TPA= way up north
I-70= near Dayton
Seek= Xenia (about 2 hours away)

Were just 15 minutes south of Cincinnati.

We have a few players from Portsmouth that play here. One of the dudes on our Xball squad lives out that way.

Wellston and McArthur! thats close, i didnt know that their was any fields out that way. do you have any contact info for those fields? anybody that plays their or what not. both thouse are prob outside yah?

Seek and Destroy i have heard of. that is the one that i few friends of mine pay at. well use to. one hasn't played for a little bit. i know i will be playing their at least a few times. being that Cincinnati is kinda my second home. "worked their for ever"

Unlimited Paintball has a nice web site. i checked it out, looks like a nice place. who is it that is playing up that way from my area. i would bet i know them, sure they know me as well. i use to be very big im the sport. just got out of it for a bit. it Unlimited Paintball the field just before Newport?

As for starting a field in this area i have heard that an old paintball buddy was going to, but i have been hearing that for a cupple of years and nothing has come of it. Im going to get a hold of him and find out for sure or not. If not then im might. i have been checking into bunkers and Air already. the land isnt a problem at all. im just not sure if i would want to do the normal "store style field" or not. from the years i have been around this sport, i have noticed that Store style field don't tend to last to long in this area.
That's what made me think of a Club style field. where everybody would pay yearly dues, and all the money goes into stuff fr the club. Im thinking of just buying the bunkers at first. its just the air supply is what cost alot. im not out to make money off of it just want to play, and always be able to play and not have to worry about the field closing. it seams to me that the club style would make it a lot easier for some people "as for cost". Nothing though is for sure though. i just know that a lot of people around this area dont play anymore because their is no place to play close.

Yeah, I agree with you, a club-style field would be best. It is a real big shame that JDR closed down. Like you, I quit for a couple years, now wantin to get back into it, but would like to find a field that isn't too far away. I use to play at Diehard all the time in Silver Grove, KY, not too far from Unlimited. The field in McArthur is called MAM Paintball, their website is www.mampaintball.com. The one in Wellston is called Bruno's, don't know if they have a site or not. If you can work out a way to have a club field around here, I'll gladly help out and pay dues.

EZLNZapatista740 is this Shad or Steve the only field left is Bruno's and its a field that shares its space with a gun club so its only open a couple times a month unless by appointment.

Unlimited is in Florence, Kentucky. I could be to Newport in about 10 minutes.

Shad was who I was talking about plays with us. Pretty sure he lives close to Chilocothee. I know I spelled that one wrong.

I heard Voodoo Paintball put a speedball field in Huntington, WV, about an hour from Portsmouth.

Chillicothe is how its spelled Shad lives in Wheelersburg though unless he moved again.

I am a McDermott native. Now I play for a team in Cincinnati where I currently live. I also play at Diehard in Kentucky. I would like to find places to play when I go back down to P-town to visit family.

yea its shad you havent a clue its chad and steve that are from mcdermott that you claim to know not shad and steve shad plays with unlimited and he has for about a year or so. Im gonna shoot you on your new field. Do you know who this is
