Well said, I personally dont like the idea but its not really up to us. I played with my gun set on 10 today for the first half and its just ridiculous.

i think the cfoa should simply keep it as it is. i feel like psp would be completely rediculous to have 3 rates of fire. much less 12 balls per second at the highest level.. i usually don't complain about rules but the fact is its an extreme sport and 10-12 bps is not very extreme. secondly, lowering the bps does not really help us that much on saving money by shooting less paint but it does cause us to shoot less people off the break thus causing games to last longer due to there being more 5 on 5's... please leave paintball alone... let it be paintball... just because everything else in the world is regulating and adding stipulations doesnt mean cfoa has to... the 8/10/12 would be horrible.. i could live with 12 but 10 that's sad... if people are having such an issue with money that they cant afford the 5-10 dollars extra an event they would spend on paint makes me ask should they really be playing?

i know that our team wont be playing any psp events if they do the move, thats absolutely rediculous. we have plans to play every cfoa, but if this rof change happens again then we are gonna just play local events.

Why does everyone think that changing the rof has to do with saving money , how about trying to save the sport that we love , higher rates of fire tends to turn a lot of people away from paintball not the money aspect . Another thing the 8 bps will not happen in my opion top level set at 12 and all others set at 10 , if you feel that you can't compete at 10bps then you really need to check your skill level , the last time I looked it only takes 1 break to get someone out it should be about skill and who has the best game plan not who can put the most paint in the air and hope they can shoot some one, another thing why don't the pros have the lower bps they should really be at the top of there game and should have the lower rof just my opion

tim. we might as well just start shooting semi, most can shoot 10 bps, no bounce allowed.

i would prefer there be a special division for un capped ramp, for all the people who wannaplay "speedball"

correct me if im wrong..but not all the high dollar guns etc are they arent built to go that lower if it goes to 8 or 3 bps is it?

Most all tourny guns go down to 10bps thats why I don't think they will go lower than that , I could be wrong on that

i totally agree with this dude. i don't complain much either but 8 to 10 bps come on you could probably run between the balls. yall changed the rof last year to 13.5 so most of us had to get our boards flashed please don't make us do that again and please don't ruin paintball please just leave it at 13.5 bps.
