I was under the impression that there were going to be a TON of people on Sunday the 15th. I've been recruited to ref that day- apparently there's some wrestling group (yes, group, singular) that's coming out. Granted, this figure can be exaggerated, but I was told somethin insane like 60-80 FOR RENTALS ALONE- not sure, who would have their own equipment, but still.... not a bad catch for Richard, ya know?

That's why I was recruited to ref. I imagine I'm not the only one they're scratching up. I imagine they can run the whole group at once- 10 on woodhenge, 30 on pipes, 20 on fort, 10 on speedball, and another 20-30 on apocalypse. But ya, I imagine the logistics are gunna be a ***** for the game turnaround. Lucky for them I'm a logistics major

I've of alot of people being recruited but two of the kids that were reffin we me last saturday probably are gonna get fired b/c they had alot of complaints against them by players. One of the kids had never played paintball before and we had to teach him saturday about what counts as a hit, etc. Then he tried to make a private speedball party take their guns of ramping (let's just say it didn't work out well). But hopefully we should be good, especially with the system of permanent field refs they're using sunday

dunno, but i suggest going saturday and not sunday- the place is gunna be pretty packed, and might cause regular walk on play to be a tad slow...

Ok, so WELL over 100 people there today. Had a wrestling group of 70, another group (birthday? maybe?) of about 30, and then a solid count of walk ons. Logistically everything went like clockwork. I was quite impressed how smoothly the day went, ESPECIALLY with the majority of players having not played or barely played before. I'm beat. g'nite.

There was definitely a great turnout at the field this weekend. We had the Wrestling Group that was just over 70, plus a birthday party of close to 30, and a good group of walk-ons. We were hoping for a few more speedballers, but I honestly don't know where we would have put them. I have to say Richard did a great job with parking to fit everyone in. THANKS A TON to everyone that came out and reffed. You guys did a great job and we all appreciate the time and hard work you all put in.
Good luck to everyone going to Bear Claw this next weekend.
We look forward to seeing those who are not going at the field this coming weekend.
