When you have fond memories of playing against Jessica Sparks..... When you've had the "Bud orr stole my design" conversation with Glen Palmer, in his person.... When you remember SC village when it was called SAT CONG VILLAGE.

When you owned a FULL AUTO paintball gun(smg 60), before semis were invented (sans rapide).

When at least two opposing players on the field at any given day had homemade bazookas.

When you've taken out an entire bunker with 6-8 players with a damn paintball gernade and a Splatmaster.

Your gun is 10 years older than the kid you shot out.

You laugh at that way everyone fires their guns ,like they are tickling a hamster.

You call it a gun ,not a marker.
I'm really Crazy Tony 2.
The original Crazy Tony was actually scary!

Could bring back a lot of oldschool names from the beginning of NPPL days...

Ted played for Washington Reign also on that team was Jeremy Salm (I even went to his wedding), and thats me in my Avatar playing in San Diego 5 man. We won the am 5 man

Okay, here is my take on old school...

You can check the box if you know or played with the following people are:
Jamie Canavero
Scott Clayton
Dirk Gadberry
Alexander Rose
Clayton Kyle
Vu Huong
Chuck Hendsch
Steve Copeland
Magic Carpet Bob
Mark Thompson
Jed Burns
Craig Fronsoe
Emory Abo
Jeff Orr
Dave Bassman
Paul McKay
Wes Wong
Earon Carter
Kevin Donaldson
Rose and Albert
Alberto "Chino" Carbajal
Peter Bofill
Danny Bonura
Phil Hamm
Marcus Davis
John Sosta
and MANY more people I can't remember...

You are old school if all the cool mods were from stuff you bought at a hardware store, or from someone who modified your gun with parts from a hardware store.

Shot iodine pink Bulls Eye paint - but the best paint you could buy locally was orange nelson

upgrading your gun meant changing power tubes - if you know what a power tube is and remember what the numbers meant.

Remember when getting a new barrel meant buying a whole new gun?

Remember that you swore NEVER to pay $60 for a loader thinking for $60 I will just shake my gun from time to time.

Remember when players had nicknames and all teams had patches?

Going to a national tournament meant flying into some big city, driving to the middle of nowhere, parking along side of a country road and spending 3-4 days with some of the best people you will ever meet in your life?

If you were under 25 on a tournament team, you were the "kid"

remember when you had to tilt your gun up or down to make sure a ball loaded when you cocked it?

remember charging someone when you heard gas hissing from their bunker right after their last shot blooped out the barrel?

remember when the good guns cost $500 plus, and the REALLY good guns came out of a guys garage or machine shop?

remember when there were NO divisions or classes at tournaments? There was ONE tournament that EVERYONE was there to win.

remember when shooting alot of paint was considered bad play? Nobody wanted to be a "hoser".

remember ever saying you spent the day "waxing squids"?

I was thinking the same thing.

To the fella that mentioned the Lasoya execution.... or anyone really.... anyone have a video link? This was all over net what seems like yesterday, and now I can't find a decently quality one that's not some dude recording his TV with a camcorder. That video makes me laugh everytime.

More old school, when you see a clear blue stingray you can't help but say "The old black ones were a heck of a lot better. Those bodies never crack."

when you were the first person to own a semi at the field.
The pro shop was a wood shop.
You helped brainstorm the trigger mechanism for the Master Mine.
Speed Ball had nothing to do with paintball but would land you in jail.
barrel porting didn't exist
Your new state of the art semi came with a 12 gram quike change.
your anti double feed was a bent paper clip screwed to the side of the gun
If you had batteries in your gear bag they were in there by mistake.
Agg meant agriculture.
Smart Parts made a pump
ever used the "nail" mod to make a ProLite full auto.
