I've only been there once but I liked it much more than SC, the people are more relaxed, idk we justed chilled and played some paintball. It doesn't seem that you play as much games as SC but they usually play until one side complelty wins. which I like..... I'll be going this Sunday again.

Not sure what goes in this forum, but thought I'd post the Jungle Island BIg Game schedule for 2009. Big Games are played across the Trench, Buildings, Hyperball, Hill and adjacent fields with about 100 players per side. Lots of fun.

Below is[Pickle's] big games schedule for 2009 at Jungle Island!

Feb 22

April 5

Aug 2 (tentative)

Sept 13

Nov 29

Angry jungle needs work

jungle has gone down the tubes. i sent some people from work there and they had a crap day. the ref's sucked so they went to the manager who was asleep in his car. if that is who helps you you are SKREWD. bring your own food they have a food truck but the 2 girls in there were to busy gossiping i stood there for a long time then they were smart *** with me. now i just bring my own stuff. the fields are good but they can use some work.

They haven't been putting up all the fields either over at speedball. I've only seen them put up 1 sometimes 2 fields and the wait is just longer than usual. If they put up 3 or 4 fields then its a good day, but it doesn't always happen.

Never again

I thought I wouldn't go back but my friends wanted to go. It was a mud mess. we had to wait so long in the rain to register because that guy was so slow and it wasn't even busy. I guess he is handicapped but he took forever to sign us in, then he had to get someone to get us paint because he couldn't so we had to wait more he should have stayed asleep. its not very professional when the staff wares pajamas to work. I'm sticking to SC. The playing was ok for the rain but it's not worth the Crap

Thats a pretty harsh statements about the guy at the registration. Just for your info he was in a life altering accident. He was told he would never walk again and look he's out there every weekend working. Your right he should be like everyone else in the world and just suck up all the disability money he can. Here's a thought how about cutting him a break and try thanking him for not costing you more money in the long run. Should count your blessings that your not him or part of his family.

All you have to do is ask them to.

About Jungle

it may be harsh 747 but you never can know another mans struggles.
i've been playing at Jungle for many years and I can say with honesty I love and hate it. the last few times i have played it's been unorganized and its true the registration is snails pace when the guy doesn't have any help. thats a company problem not that guys fault. the company should be more in charge and handle things more professionally. I have also went to the office and had to wake the guy up but i think they just need more help but it is unprofessional. when Jungle is ON it's great i have had the best times there but when its off it sucks.
don't give up on it maybe write a letter to the company not post negative stuff here. it will give newbies the wrong idea

Yes it is BYOP, but you can also buy paint there if you want to. I used to work at jungle as a ref and they can be great some days and terrible others. SC is more professional but I like the relaxed atmosphere that Jungle has its way more chill. Business has been slow for them or so I've heard so that may be why they are slacking...
