Read somewhere that the SLG might have problems shooting brittle paint, but I cannot verify this myself because I haven't got one yet, so I turn to the owners...

With an operating pressure of 145 psi (or something like that) I have a hard time seeing why it should have a problem shooting brittle (read tournament) paint.

Have you shot brittle paint and did it work?


As I said, there's no reason in my mind why it shouldn't work. Just read somewhere that you should be careful.

I shot a hopper of EVIL that was breaking from 3 feet, had a few barel breaks but no chops/breech breaks.

Are you talking about 09 SLG or 08 SLG?

my 09 so far has been awsome with crap paint =]

my 08 has worked amazing with bad paint. only breaks I get are in the barrel...

the stock barrel on my 08 sucks. i get breaks in the barrel with cheap paint. other than that its awesome.

Reserved my SLG yesterday from a local (ehhh... "local" 2 hours away) proshop.

I am interested in how it shoots, holds up and keeps up. Coming from a long line of different markers and other higher-end ones I am curious to see how well a budget marker can be made and how enjoyable it could possibly be.

So...

-09 SLG UL on it's way. Black as night (that's the only color left at my shop) and... well... A lot cheaper than MSRP (spelling? MRSBPB SMLMBSP WQIMSP???) since there was only ONE left in stock!
