the top flat part on a cocker is 1/4". my DIY sled is about 21/32" long. i just eyeballed the position of the pump arm on the sled.

also, measure from the end of the top tube to the start of the slot, that helps in finding the length you want

yeah they are delrin. its easy to work with. a hacksaw and files will do just fine, but a dremel makes it fast. i used a rough sanding bit and it shaped easy

your best bet would just go to a store that sell delrin. look for a piece that's 1 inch wide .50 thick and 5 inch long. the sled should be about .75 long, .25 for the hole in the middle and .25 for the front and back. the gap between the leg should be .50.

the piece should be about $2.50 and u can make 5 piece being about 1 inch long out of the 5 inch piece just in case u mess up u have a few spare.

the only problem i had making a sled is making the curve part of the legs where the sled touch the body.
