With the weather looking the way it is I think we're shooting for Saturday now.

I may be around the area on the 29th with some guys. Anyone going to be practice bound on that day?
What kind of prices will I run into. Here at home no one pays air or field fee. We only buy paint for $50 a case and we have indoor. Does the barn charge air and field fee? What kind of paint will be there?

I may be out, but don't know about the whole team. If you are planning on playing the next tourney, field and air should be covered, if not $15 bucks. Paint durring tourney is $50 (DSX field) or $55(DSX Bronze). I think they honor that price for tourney practice as well.

Not really making sense. Next sunday on the 29th will the barn be open and what are the prices for sunday practice? is there a field fee?( ) is there an air fee?( ) what is paint price.
I'll probably have 5 to 6 people with me. We really don't want to drive all that way and spend $70 in gas if it's going to cost us another $70 plus to play. Our home field will be closed that weekend is why we are looking for a place to scrimmage and Sudden Impact here in Illinois is definately out of the question.

If you are entering the next tourney, June 18th:
No field or air fee. Paint 50 or 55 a case.
If you are not entering the tourney:
E-mail Micha and see what he'll do for you.

He's actually answering your questions correctly! The barn gives out a "team discount" to teams who have played in on of their tournaments or is registered for one. Therefore, if you are planning on playing in the next tournament you will get the discount when you come out to play next sunday.
If your not, Micah may very well hook you up, but you have to contact him personally to find out.
So Kidd88 pretty much answered your questions perfectly.

UMMM NO. I never asked for any discount if I was playing a tournament. I asked is there is a field fee and or air fee and what the cost is for paint. This is the "paintball barn discussion thread" not a tournament discussion thread.
SO, I will repeat my question for those who cannot comprehend.
AS OF RIGHT NOW I HAVE NO INTENTION IN PLAYTING ANY PAINTBALL BARN TOURNAMENTS.
1. Is there a field fee (field fees )
2. is there an air fee (air fees )
3 what is the price of paint. that's total price. I know how fields in indiana like to add tax at point of sale instead of just including the tax in the price.
these are very simple questions that require only very simple answers. Please do not assume I am playing a tournament.

For any walk on players who come the field fee is $15 which includes all day air. Also, the Barn uses field paint only which is Draxxus field paint & it costs $60 a case.

well that seems really high. here we do not charge any field or air fee. paint is $50 a case for anyone here fo sunday practice and we have an indoor field.
why is everyone still charging air and field fees when they are marking paint up 100% already?
Well, thank you for answering my questions with informative answers

fly n colors paintball... never has been an air fee even for normal rec play. there are normal rental fees and paint is $60 a case. On Sunday for practice paint is 50. We have marbalizer. My guys and I really don't mind going to other facilities but their prices are too high to warrant spening $40+ on gas just to pay another $70+ to play. IDK, I'll talk to the guys and see what they say. Will the barn be open this sunday?

I'm gonna take the high road here ... and apologize. After reading my first reply I could see how you could be confused by it, and I didn't give you a non tourney team price on paint at all. Sorry bout that. However, you were asking about practice, which I took to mean that you were looking for tourney practice, and you were also asking a while back about the last event that was played at paintball barn, and that is why I answered the way I did. Again, sorry for the assumption. If you have any more questions, you can very simply go to, paintballbarn.com, and get your very simple answers.
