Are there any clubs/groups/teams that play? And where at? Just looking for some information.

There's A "club" that plays at a horribly run down field close to Bloomington. There's a few real players out there though. They have a Facebook page or group I think. There are some great fields all within an hour of Bloomington.

Yeah, there's a club here at IU but they're not too active. I know they were playing in some local 3 and 5 man events last I talked to them though.

There's a few players around town and, like was stated above, a lot of fields in the area. A lot of the fields are more rec/woods oriented but BattleGroundz and Paintball Indiana, both less than an hour away from campus, still run some events and hold practices.

I just play for fun. I'm more or less just looking for a group of people to go play with. What are the best fields? Thanks for the responses.

I am also new to Bloomington and was wondering the same thing. Are there enough IU students around with xball experience to run a NCPA team? Even just AA events?

How's the AA competition now? I remember it being really, really soft but that was a few years back. I've met a few kids around campus that have played locally before but I haven't found much national experience.

I'm not sure; I only know people who play class A, but I'm not above a little sandbagging and it seems like getting an xball squad together is unlikely.

I wouldn't be opposed to playing something if someone got a team together, but the main problem from years past is that the university won't help out with anything.

It would be awesome to see something happen down here, theres enough talent to make it happen, the problem is jus finding people to put in the work. There are some great rec fields though.

If we want an IU NCPA team, those of us with experience will have to take the lead. The Class AA commitment is relatively small, only 4 events plus the Nationals in the spring. I haven't played seriously in a couple years, but I would love to get back on the horse, especially on a level that doesn't require 3 weekends a month.

Toss the idea around. I'm new to town and don't know the players, but I would be willing to put a package together and have a go at the school for funding. As an MBA, I might be able to get someone listen.

I don't go to IU so I couldn't play but I live in Bloomington and have more than plenty national experience, and could help on the coaching side. I know there's some real players out here and there has been an attempt to get something going quite a few times. I'm sure there are fields as well as companies that would at least do something to get another NCPA team going.

There is an IU Paintball Club group on Facebook, that's how I found out about it. I haven't talked to them in a while though so I'm not sure who is still active or anything, but the Facebook group would be a good start.

Been there, done that. They have no plans to play NCPA and have no real experience. Sorry, Skinny, thought you were a student. My plate is full at the moment, but I'd love to play if anyone gets motivated to start a college team.

Yoooo if you wanna play in NCPA join the facebook group and start talking it up. IU is ****ing huge and its sad we haven't been able to field a team ever. We have played a few local tournaments but most of the guys, besides me, lack experience. I know they are totally down to do NCPA though they just need some leadership. I would be down to help and possibly play if I land a decent job this semester.
