awesome. now we are bashing fields.

if it's a place to play paintball, it's cool - especially one that is inside and keeps you warm in the winter

you are all entitled to your opinions. but i just wanna know how is it crappy cause the fields are dirty, cause it's small, and cause to some of you it cost alot to play there.

well then honestly you guys don't know how hard it is for indoor fields to maintain themselves. so before you start saying saying it sucks maybe you should shut the F*** up and think about what it takes to run an indoor field cause i'd make a bet that none of you could do it any better.

and if you guys really don't like apc then don't post in here.

and like Brad and Shiz said it's a place to play when it's cold or there 's snow(which is 9 months out of the year). and right now it's the only indoor place.

if you guys think the field sucks then don't come when people/your friend/your teamates, start playing there off and on during the winter unless your gonna walk right up to tony or lance and say "your field sucks".....
which none of you will do. have a you havent even played there yet your just following what everybody else said.

As much as I bash APC, their is a few awesome things

1. Lance (no explanation needed)
2. 45 Fills
3. Friendly owners
4. Turf is good and bad (if they cleaned I would go their all the time.)
5. Staging and somewhat clean

Bad

1. Price
2. Turf

Otherwise I generally like APC.

number 1 is why i mainly go there cause lance like you said needs no explaination he's just a really cool guy.

now on to your bad list.

i can see why you think price is bad but if you go there on thursday or sundays your only paying $55-$60 which is the same price if not cheaper then playing at blitz with out the Blitz team discount thing. and if you have a a blitz sponsorship then it's only like $7-$13. which is not that bad.

now if you show up more often they start to know your face and they might ask you if you want to play for a lil cheaper by filling up the bunkers or just helping out for a few minutes with getting the rentals started. which isn't bad cause then you play for about the same price as a Blitz team sponsorship ($47).

now for the turf from what i have been told they have PURCHASHED new shag turf which should be there before their winter series starts. so the turf problem will be fixed.

i like it, i see nothing wrong with it, if you want to just go to have fun paintballing APC is the place to go. i love how quick the games are, better than those long matches on a big field,
apc i think is pretty awesome.

What I would love to see APC do would be the following:

Take their airball field (and preferably the scenario field too),and strip it down to the floor. Preferably using concrete, set the area up to drain, just a 1 or 2 degree slope into one corner. Depending on the original use of the building, it may already be set.

Then lay down a metal grid, consisting of 1ft by 1ft squares (or larger or smaller, depending on the turf to be used).

Then, lay down an artificial turf (significantly thicker than the metal grid, so that would never surface) in those squares.

This makes it easy to take a square of turf out, hose it off, and replace it, as well as making hosing down bunkers very easy.

I could be convinced to play almost exclusively at APC if this kind of a system were put in. I love indoor, especially in the winter, the only downside with any of the indoor places I've played at was the difficulty in keeping the fields clean.

And honestly, APC is an excellent field, with that one small exception. Tony and Lance are great, the staging area is generous, they've got anything you'll need onsite, and there seems to be a pretty steady flow of players going through there.
