Big Pearl paintball is a feild in southern VA, near lexington Virginia.

you pevs nerds wouldnt know a thing about it =] but its way better than painted forest, and has 4-5 amazing feilds.

they have a mix of speedball and woodsball. but NO AIR BUNKERS! its all wooden bunkers made out of plywood and boards. or logs. VERY nice bunkers. they have like 5 bunkers that are more than 1 level, and 1 bunker that has 3 levels! its insane!

defenitely the best paintball park in the area.

I played at a big game that Big Pearl held a few weeks ago.
Definitely a sweet woods field. Though I hope they have something to chrono with other than that one yellow handheld they used when I was there.

It's easily one of the better fields I've been to in the area. Just wish the could get rid of some of the rocks.

We are for Liberty Team practice only right now, but we are looking at holding some tournaments and then some open event days. Down the road the field will be for rent. We are still working on a building.

hey, im the guy that was chronoing with the yellow one handed chrono.

we knew those guns were perfect because we shot them earlier, with a better chrono.

not to mention that jerimiah left the GOOD chrono at home, the one we used beeps when your shooting over 280fps.

about the rocks. it would be IMPOSSIBLE to remove all the rocks, and even if we did, people would still complain.

We've had quiet a few chrono's die. I've got 3-4 in the box down stairs and only one works well. We should have a more expensive one soon. Hopefully it will hold up a little better.

The rocks are a draw back. Nobody wants to dive into a bunker only to land on a pointed hard object. We do our best to clear as many as possible, but then there just a hole were you moved the rock. I don't think there to bad, but it's just one negative aspect we have to deal with. One possitive is when we build a fort out of rocks it's not going to wrot. Even with Monsterballs nobody's going to shoot you through the crack.

Our Ohio field has perfect landscape, no rocks, small rolling hills, but it's limited in size. At least with the Glasgow field, because of the size, even with the same numbers, & same game type, the games almost always play out different each time.

BTW-We are working on securing more land for our Ohio field. This years Civil War is going to be insane.

May 16th Defiance Scenario

Based on actual events in WWII. Some Jews and Russians fight the Nazis for survival. As usual we'll have plenty of props to go along with the theme.

Cost is $20, all day air and entry fee. Prize drawing at the end. More people, more prizes.

Insurance

The events at Liberty University are supported by Big Pearl Paintball, but this is the University's field. As such Liberty University’s insurance covers everyone involved. That's why we sign their waivers, not ours.

For the record Big Pearl Paintball, Inc does not carry insurance on any of our fields (Glasgow, VA & Ashtabula, OH). As far as Liberty University goes we cannot insure a field that we do not run/own.

Some other fields are making an issue of this and I prefer to get it out in the open. If I've ever given anyone the impression that we currently have insurance on one of OUR fields I'm sorry. Most likely we will insure both fields in the next few months; simply to avoid further harassment from people that are worried we're going to put them out of business.

BTW-If you haven't seen a fields current insurance policy, how do you know they have insurance? A lot of fields don't carry insurance, and just lie. We're just being honest about it.

We'd much rather work with other fields then against them. There will always be competition, why not work together and get more people to play paintball? We allow people to hand out business cards and flyers at all of our events, we only ask that they not bad mouth us, and allow us to hand out business cards if we visit their field.

We are more then glad to take feedback, but the people complaining to my knowledge have never even played at an event in which we've been involved. Before we started partnering with Liberty for speedball tournaments nobody was coming out of the closet to be the Joan of Arc for the uninsured paintball player. Now that we're in more direct competition people with mixed motives are attacking what we're trying to do.

Thanks for hearing me out,

-Jeremiah Keeler
