Definitely a sweet woods field. Though I hope they have something to chrono with other than that one yellow handheld they used when I was there.
It's easily one of the better fields I've been to in the area. Just wish the could get rid of some of the rocks.
We've had quiet a few chrono's die. I've got 3-4 in the box down stairs and only one works well. We should have a more expensive one soon. Hopefully it will hold up a little better.
The rocks are a draw back. Nobody wants to dive into a bunker only to land on a pointed hard object. We do our best to clear as many as possible, but then there just a hole were you moved the rock. I don't think there to bad, but it's just one negative aspect we have to deal with. One possitive is when we build a fort out of rocks it's not going to wrot. Even with Monsterballs nobody's going to shoot you through the crack.
Our Ohio field has perfect landscape, no rocks, small rolling hills, but it's limited in size. At least with the Glasgow field, because of the size, even with the same numbers, & same game type, the games almost always play out different each time.
BTW-We are working on securing more land for our Ohio field. This years Civil War is going to be insane.
