Tournament is looking like it is going to be the 28th of this month.

3 Man "Rookie" tournament, by rookie we mean no Cfoa, Cup, CFPS etc experience. Aces is fine.

Entry is $60 a team entry which includes air too.

Paint is usually around 50 a case or byop.

I dont know how this tourney is going to be prizes wise, but the last one went:

1st: 400 Cash
2nd: Velocity Hoppers
3rd: Empire Packs
4th: Dye Headwraps

could there be an all cash 1st place open division for those of us who dont fit the strict lower division standards.. also what if they played d5 cfoa.. then they cant play but there are aces open players that have the ability to play d2.. jw.. id like to see tournement pball in the dothan area back jumpen.

I would love to see that. I would be the first person signed up. I would vote to have one if it was my choice

. The the main problem I see with that though is teams. We only have 2-3 teams in the area, or honestly within 150 miles of here, that could compete (or put up a fight) and the rest would be out there getting drilled. And i think that is Keith's thinking and why he does rookie tournaments. Due to the fact that there are so many around the area.

As far as the Aces thing. Your right there are some ballers at Aces that could play d2-d3, but if they went to a Cfoa, or anything of that nature, they could go under d5, rookie or whatever else based on APPA. So tech. they still are considered a rookie

if you guys would be willing i could put you intouch with atleast 75 3 man teams in 150 mile radius and prolly 20 in the 90 mile radius that could compete..

If dsg catered a little less to the rec players and included more tourney based fields they would Definitely see an increase in business but I'm glad to see tourneys back in Dothan

I doubt that. Rec Ballers are where the money is at around here.
We just dont leave airball up everyday.

I know a good amount of students from Troy looking for airball. Kids from alot of different teams. Gunkings, N2, Phantom Regiment, and so on.

la swat katana the other pc team panhandle something or other. the 2 niceville teams, shiver and there kids teams not to mention all the people who go to troy that have no place to play every weekend south of b ham and north of pc.

That is 2 Pate Smith.. Niceville isnt 90 miles btw. Neither is Wetumpka (Shiver). need 18 more. You can do it.

I think it would be nice to have a day once a month set to have airball up and encourage local teams and players wanting to scrimamge speedball come out and just play all day.

I'm not positive, but I think they do have airball up about once a month, maybe more. Just contact Keith at DSG or Sky on here once in a while to find out when.
