I'm probably going here next weekend and I hear they sell cases for $55 each of karnage tear. This is ridiculous, so do you guys think I will be able to get past bringing my OWN case of karnage tear? (saving like 20 bucks)

I had really wanted to check out this field, until I heard how much they charge for paint.

I don't mind field paint only, as long as the prices aren't nuts.

Just charge more for admission, I hate overpaying for paint.

Do anyone in the bay want to get together and go hit up BApaint on a weekday or weekend because i dont want to just walk in and see no one playing and just walk out you know because that would be wasting my time and gas

Yeah, that's one of the main cons of BA. I hear if you know the refs, you get free admission/air or something so it's not that bad if you have connections. As for the rest of us, it's a waste of money.

Me and a group of friends are probably going to sunol but we are deciding between BA and there. If we do end up going, I'll let you know so you can come play with us if you'd like. But I'm not sure as sunol favors pricing AND travel distance for us.

Also:
Sunol: Admission+Air+1case = $72
BA: Admission+Air+1case = $98

Yeah I just went there today. Got there a little after three and checked in, took them at least an hour after that to set the field up. It was hard to run because the ground was mushy. the guys that worked there couldn't figure anything out. most of the time one guy was was working and the other five were messing around. Half of the time I was hitting people and they wouldn't call themselves out (even the so called workers). The ref (the few times there was one) just sat at the end and only said "game over". One of the refs even took a gun out there and played. One of the "workers" got me in the back about four times from ten feet (his gun was way too hot). When they filled my friends tank up, they all left the room and started talking about how it blows up all the time.
I definitely don't like this place, and if you want to waste time and money, go there.

i use to play there, then i stopped going because they didnt have the high school special anymore. Anyways, this field is horrible, and so are services. They are ruining paintball for everyone, when i go there its not even fun cause im afraid that im gonna break my leg by slipping everywhere.

1. way way too expensive
2. never clean their field
3. refs are stupid ( i was in a tourney once, and one of the refs said game over so i was like ok, i drew my gun back n started walking out then the other team started shooting i was like wtf. Guess what it wasnt even over... i was hella piss. Worse refs ever )

the only good thing bout this place is the area they chose. There's alot of places to eat around here.

The paint is hella expensive though, i usually sneak paint in that i got from actionvillage,(just get white fill and ur good) and also duck tape ur pods so they cant tell.

I really hope they change the prices or go out of business cause its really bad, or change owners.

i dont think anyone wants that. i just think the current reffing staff blows. the field has a great concept of what us impatient paintball addicts want: weeknight games. ALL day saturday games. ****ing airball. AIRBALL!!!

but seriously, if they allowed whitefill/white shell paint from outside, and fixed up their turf a little, im sure the field would be more than successful.
