I use something similar to that from Nike. Works well on turf, feels like space shoes a bit but work well. Worked fine for me at nppl buffalo as well.

Those are nice, but look into soccer cleats, they're lighter.

Get some Nike Rival's. About $60. Lighter than soccer cleats and have way more traction.

You can usually find some clearance cleats of all kinds at sporting good stores. My cousin got his past 3 cleats for under $50 at Sports Authority, one of them being a $20 pair of Adidas cleats (don't know what kind, wasn't soccer cleats).

goto www.boombah.com, they've got mesh turf II's and some other styles like the trail and the bullet. they come in tons of colors, have good prices and take paypal.

I wear the mesh II's and they feel like sneakers. I highly recommend them. I use them on grass when I play softball/baseball with no slipping problems. The nubs are pretty durable and have good grip.

I use the Nike rivals, re-tapped for golf spikes. Best thing you can ever do. The exalt cleats copied the idea, if you re-tap you're own shoes, you can wear whatever you want.
